I am currently staying at Tribune Hotel Rome (Saturday–Thursday) and experienced a serious safety issue.

On arrival, the hotel issued me a room key that opened an already occupied room. After reporting this, I was placed in a different room where the internal secondary security lock does not function.

Given that a key was already issued to the wrong room, a non-working internal lock is a legitimate safety concern. I raised this immediately with the night front desk staff member (Jeffer), who stated he was the only person on duty and that the issue could not be addressed until morning. No alternative room with a functioning internal lock was offered.

I have video evidence showing the internal lock does not engage. Being asked to wait overnight after a key-control error is not acceptable. Until the hotel demonstrates reliable key management and fully functioning room security, I would recommend avoiding this property.

Hotel was in a great location. Nearby restaurants and no reservations needed. We walked everywhere and felt safe at all times. Staff was extremely helpful in giving recommendations for sites to see etc. extremely clean hotel. Breakfast was great and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this hotel with our family and had a very pleasant experience. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was very well distributed, with separate beds for each child and a large, comfortable bed for mom and dad. The large window made the room feel bright and open; however, we would recommend a bit more illumination inside the room, especially in the evenings.

We really appreciated having full control of the air conditioning and heating ourselves. The shower was excellent, there was a safe in the room, and room service was fast and efficient, which was very convenient when traveling with kids. Breakfast every morning was outstanding, with great variety and quality. The rooftop restaurant and bar are beautiful, offering a lovely atmosphere to relax and enjoy the views.

The staff truly made a difference—everyone was nice, polite, well organized, and always willing to help. Overall, it was a comfortable, family-friendly stay, and we would happily recommend this hotel, with the small suggestion of improving the room lighting.

We had good check in experience, with Helpful front desk , giving us advise were
To visit and where to eat at night .
We got an upgrade to a bigger room with a big bath and compatible bed . A nice mini bar and complimentary Bottel of red wine and Daily refills of bottles of water
The Breakfast was very nice .
And don’t forget to order an omelette in the morning .
And nice roof top bar on the 7th floor .
And you can take a 20 minute walk down the road to city center or 10-12 euro Uber .
Would recommend the Hotel to my Friends and family

Outstanding experience overall. Staff were all wonderful. We ate breakfast at the hotel twice and were thoroughly impressed with the variety of food and options. Best hotel breakfast experience of our three week Italy trip. Proximity to the Borghese Gallery and the park was wonderful. Definitely tour the gallery while in Rome. It was a highlight!

Great location, wonderful room, front desk and restaurant staff are super helpful and friendly. Well appointed room that was spacious, clean, and in walking distance of amazing shopping and restaurants. Definitely worth our 2 day stay!

Great location, very nice staff and great breakfasts.

Front desk staff was friendly, accommodating, and informative. Our room was very clean, except toiletries forget to replenish on our third day. Breakfast food was excellent except the staff were not so friendly, accommodating, and food refill was very slow. They didn’t asked for our drinks, it was self service but others were given their drinks. I just don’t appreciate the staff at the breakfast area not appreciating your presence, their tone was intimidating instead of friendly tone. Definitely needs customer service training for these staff. But I appreciate the front desk staff very much!!

From start to finish, we had a terrific one night stay at The Tribune before embarking on a cruise. Elenora checked us in and was so kind, helpful, welcoming and professional throughout…..even had our luggage delivered to our room once it was ready and before our return. The room was comfortable and beautiful, and the breakfast buffet was good with friendly staff. Excellent location (first time staying in this area of central Rome) - quick walk to Borghese Gardens and nice restaurants and shopping. Definitely recommend The Tribune in Rome!

We had a great one night stay here, I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We are a family of three and the room we had was big enough and very comfortable. I have read some of the reviews that stated there was no bathroom privacy but that was not the case for us. Yes, the bathroom door is glass but is frosted enough that you cannot see in at all. The room was very nice and clean. There was a small terrace to walk out on and enjoy the view. There was a coffee/tea maker in the room that I was very appreciative of.
The location was great. Close enough to the attractions but far enough away that you are not in the middle of all the busyness of Rome.
The rooftop bar was very nice to sit and enjoy a drink. It was not busy when we were there so we did not need a reservation but from I understand it can get busy. Don't skip the breakfast at this hotel. It may seem a little pricey but it is worth it. The food was great and there was a very large selection of hot and cold foods.
I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I go back to Rome. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Tribune. Located near Borghese Gardens, we found it a very easy 10 minute walk to the nearest metro. From the hotel it is about an hour walk to the Vatican and about a half hour walk to the Colosseum. We appreciated that it is a little quieter neighborhood. We felt safe and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff attentive. We ate at the restaurant our first night, and like breakfast, the wait staff was great and the food was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at The Tribune. The hotel is clean, modern, and the staff is very friendly. They made the trip extra special for my son because it was his birthday. They left him a treat and wrote him a letter. He loved it!

Best Hyatt stay in a while. Room wasn't ready as we got there off the ship by 11. They gave us coupons for prosecco on the rooftop restaurant. Every taxi call was accompanied by a ticket giving the taxi number, company and how long it would be. Great location and walked to the Spanish steps. Water every day and asked for extra coffee with no issues. Reception was especially friendly and helpful. Only downside was the small elevator, but typical for hotels in the middle of the city in Europe.

2day, 1 night stay here and I loved every minute. The room is beautiful and spacious, mini fridge, robes, and slippers provides as well. Great hotel toiletries too! There is no complimentary breakfast which I would say is the only bummer. However, my 2yr old ate free and it was only €20 per adult for full american/italian buffet. Great breakfast options too! There are stairs leading into the lobby, but the bell boys were there to help with bags and stroller. Our room wasnt ready but our luggage was delivered once it became available! All staff is great, big kiddos to Myro!!
