Great location! Staff was extremely friendly.
The only negative is the lack of a wall separating the tub & shower from the main room.
Beautifully finished interiors; loved the rain shower, size and comfort of bed.
Room was large and could have used better lighting; need towel racks in bath area
It was a beautiful room. Bed was super comfy. We loved the brick wall. Nice bedding, nice chairs, etc. The shower/tub area was HUGE (though I would've preferred at least glass doors on the shower-ha!) The area around the hotel was fun--quaint little downtown with restaurants/bars and shops etc.
Because we were there on a Sunday, the bar in the hotel was closed, and quite a few of the restaurants/shops around were also closed. That was a bummer, but we still found a couple places that were open and had a lovely time.
My family of 4 loves staying at this boutique hotel! I have family here so when we visit we stay here for more convenience. We used to stay off the interstate at the chain hotels but it had changed in the last few years. This is such a unique and wonderful hotel and we wish we could find this type of hotel everywhere we travel! Very spacious rooms! Love the shower! We stay in a 2 queen room, noise has never been an issue. Excellent location, walk to the best coffee shop, bakery, restaurants, and farmers market on Saturdays! Very safe, we walk at night. Right on the river in a very well maintained area where you can take walks. So love giving our money to a local company rather than the chain hotels! We give up points and free night stays with the chain for this! Judy at the front desk is always so helpful, friendly, and recommends the best places (last month she recommended an amazing boutique clothing warehouse close by for my daughter and I - our new place to shop when we come there!). This hotel is a gem!!
Very spacious loft style rooms right in the downtown area. The rooms had high ceilings and were very modern with nice seating area and retro fridge. The bathroom had the largest shower we’d ever seen, walk in style that could fit a family of four! Had a nice sized soaker tub and marble flooring! We weee staying in the Annex area across from main hotel and had a parking space in alley right outside the entrance— very convenient! The hotel doors are all electronic code for security and there was a common area in the hall with ice and microwave, etc. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, walking me over to the room and showing me how to access the doors using codes. Only issue we had was the hot water in the bathroom sink wouid not start flowing until you had to first turn it on in the bathtub….seemed like a weird plumbing issue? Otherwise, this was a very nice hotel with lots of room for our dog too.
Location!
updated room decor
good parking options
friendly staff
suggestions: the room is dark; needs better lighting options overall-
also needs to get a natural light option - you could put blinds that pull up from the bottom so that the top of the window can let light in
additional- when i first came in the room there was a strong cleaning product smell ...it took away from the overall ambiance of the otherwise very nice room - the smell did go away eventually
Quiet and good location
Staff was meh
The room was very unique - with a huge shower which felt somewhat medieval with a metal mesh curtain. The room was nicely furnished and decorated - as well as the lobby and front desk area. We loved the brick walls and historic feel!
There were a few small rocks inside the shower area which made me question housekeeping as a whole, but really everything else was in order. The afternoon / evening front desk staff wasn't super friendly. She seemed to be more interested in her phone than helping (the daytime gentleman was very friendly).
Perfect location in downtown so once you park, you can walk everywhere.
Room was amazing! Everything about it! The bed, the shower, the location!
Has a bar located on-site and it has super cool Vibes like the rest of the property
This place was super, super cool
Very clean, nice room, comfortable bed.
This place was affordable, but still a boutique experience! Such a nice stay and the location was perfect for us to attend an event at the Carson Center.
I can’t think of anything!
