Disgraceful
Pros:

Location was great when was choosing to book this one.

Cons:

I was checked in to dirty room. It was late evening. There was no clean rooms available. Been told I can make the bed myself and reception will provide bed sheets. I’ve ended up leaving and not sleeping before going to work. Customer service non existent. They ignore your emails. Avoid at all costs!

Pros:

Staff were brilliant.
Location great.

Cons:

When we went to our rooms, one was already occupied, it took 2 hours for them to sort out or second room.
Beds not comfortable, standard room very small, large dated dark furniture made the room feel even smaller.
Awful smell in the bathroom.

Diabolical hotel
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

No breakfast as advertised and paid for as no chef, offered sea view room which was given to someone else so ours had view of scaffolding, four floors up with no lift and almost impossible to open the door from the inside, duvet was duck down which aggravated my asthma devastatingly, no WiFi (were told before we left that details were on the laminated sheet on the bedside cabinet - a laminated sheet didn't exist). They said they'd sort out some kind of refund with you for this diabolical experience but we have received nothing yet or any communication about this. We were visiting my seriously ill brother in hospital, the reason for our stay, and this did nothing to help our discomfort. I wouldn't recommend this hotel in any way except for its proximity to The Hoe!

Wasn’t as comfortable as the last 2 times we have stayed but we will definetely be back as usual as we like staying here
Pros:

It served its purpose as a standard double room

Cons:

We both usually stay in the Superior king sweet in room 6 but it wasn’t available. That rooms, the bed is very comfy and no noise etc. This room, the bed wasn’t overly comfy it was ok as it was quite springy and you could hear a lot of noise. Shower had little power,

I've stayed here numerous times over years and try to use when visiting Plymouth.
Pros:

Great location on the Hoe, close to the city centre, seafront and Barbican.
Had early check-in, friendly staff and my single room was clean, nicely decorated and as expected.
