Fawlty Towers
Pros:

Paul was a good lad and made every effort to put things right.

Cons:

As per the advert there was no chef so no breakfast, the bar was not as described, six bottles of spirits and a few bottles in the fridge. Only one person to look after over 40 rooms. The TV did not work. Now the best. The aged wooden bed collapsed. A leg fell off when I was getting out of bed. I drew this to the attention of Paul, he was great and said he would sort something out, I left for the day and on my return they had replaced the leg with an old five llter PAINT TIN to prop the bed up.. Yes, the truth and I have the pictures to prove it. I could go on.

Goed
Pros:

Cons:

Er was geen kok dus geen ontbijtmogelijkheid.

Average given the price and lack of basic facilities
Pros:

Friendly staff. Free parking. Location

Cons:

Shower was extremely stained.. not dirty but very old and needed to replace cubicle.
Hot water to the room was tepid even after letting water run for 10 mins which isn’t ok in a drought. Couldn’t shower and wash hair properly so just a quick rinse. Fortunately only one night stay.
Also informed on arrival no breakfast available as no chef so would arrange a refund with booking.com
This meant finding breakfast elsewhere which we did easily but prior notice would be appreciated.

We had a good stay but the above need rectifying before we would stay again.
Pros:

Location is great.. very close to the Hoe.
Staff were really friendly.
Comfortable bed.

Cons:

No soap in the room at all.. when we asked reception we were told they’d run out and we could go to the shop at the end of the road!
Booked with breakfast but told a couple of weeks before there wouldn’t be any. We were refunded for this though.

Plague, avoid like the plague.
Pros:

room was terrible, covered in dust, not clean, with an old fan with rust, had not been tested for three years which made it a considerable safety issue.

Creaky floorboards, I would stay away from this hotel like the plague.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing, I contacted the owners about my complaints and got no response back
