Fabulous experience at this hotel, excellent staff, spotlessly clean, amazing breakfast experience
Blinds on window allow light in, room too bright in morning for me, just a personal preference to have blackout curtains/blinds
Location was lovely, nice view of the lake and beautiful grounds around the hotel. Staff were friendly. Food was decent and well priced. Bed was comfy
For a 4 star the room it was a little lacking, the bathroom in particular had multiple holes where towel racks etc had been moved. Hole on the wall near the radiator and a broken curtain holder and some cobwebs on the walls.

The position of the bed we could hear the next room going to the toilet/ shower very annoying.

Beautiful property, amazing staff, food was lovely. Room was great too.
No lift....and no staff to help lug two 23KG (50lb) bags up the stairs to our room.
I understand there'd be a massive cost to installing a lift, but there should be a staff member to help with suitcases to and from the room. We would tip them!!
We are physically capable, but what about folks who aren't....?
