This was a perfect location in Akihabara, super close to the Akihabara station which made it so convenient.
Nice staff, clean, close to all the good shops in Akihabara
I am from America and this was my first time experiencing a capsules hotel and it good!! The hotel was clean and close to many train lines. The night i booked the hotel was completely booked and i didn't mind until in the morning. The bathrooms were packed and there were not a lot of private spaces to change. Waking up reminded me of high school gym class but waay less space. The capsules had way more space than i expected but the bed was hard. This may be Japanese standard because all of my other Hotel beds were hard as well.
I loved the staff here, everyone was so nice. The area was convenient to stations as well so that was also great! However the bathrooms and areas weren’t the cleanest and my luggage had to be sorted out in the open in the lobby because it didn’t fit in the tiny locker. The pictures online made it seem like the capsule was bigger than it actually was. There was also no lock on the entrance to the capsule and the AC was not working well so it was super hot inside. The mattresses were so thin and uncomfortable and I could hear everyone around me moving because they were so thin. I left after a few hours because I could not sleep there and had to get a new hotel.
I enjoy the stay
felt so safe and was just so cute in there honestly
I reserved this hotel for my cousin, it was her first time as an international solo traveler.
Location is excellent, just 5 min walk from Akihabara station, and from here you can move easily to any other place around center Tokyo.
You have a personal locker where a cabin luggage can easily fit, and if you have any bigger one, it's possible to leave on the reception.
The staff is super friendly and the provided an excellent service. The capsule and facilities are cleaned daily.
Things to consider:
During cleaning time (from 10 to 16) you have to be in the common areas, so during some hours, it could be crowded.
Pretty good for the price!!!
The location is super convenient, and while the building is a little old, they do a good job keeping it clean. The capsules are cozy and the shared areas feel safe and well-maintained.
My main issue is that the shower area isn’t accessible from 10 AM to 4 PM, which is quite a long stretch—especially if you want to freshen up midday. I’m not sure if this is common in other capsule hotels, but it’s something to consider when booking.
Overall, it’s a decent option for short stays, especially if you plan to be out exploring most of the day.
Great amenities and really clean. Although, the bed was very uncomfortable which should be expected with a capsule hotel.
Was such a great location and place to stay
The stay was very good and safe i love it i recommend this stay 100
It was perfect for a one night stay and a new experience for me.
The value for what you get is great! I had everything I needed and the location was excellent.
great space. safe, clean, affordable, efficient. easy walk to train station, restaurants and shopping.
駅から近くてよかったです
My flight was landed in Narita in the evening and I would like to have a stay near Ueno for a quick check in. I found there is a high rating of the accommodation but few photo can be found. Later, I found there is a “no photo” rule for guests privacy and comfortable. I appreciate that most of the guest follow the rule👍🏻
I walked about 20 minutes from Ueno. The staff are ladies. They assisted me having check in quicker via the machine. If there is no staff in front desk, the guest can still have self-check in.
For the safety concern, the suitcase is recommended to be kept on the 1/F after packing. There is a “locker” area outside the bedroom so the repacking noise will not disturb. Every guest is allocated a human-tall and thin locker, like the one in stadium. It is enough for me. Although it might be a bit inconvenient as the suitcase need to be placed on another floor than I stayed, I understood and found the arrangement acceptable.
The shower room, laundry and the washing sinks is on the 1/F. I appreciate the shower room so much. Although that night was nearly full-booking, the shower room was still in a good condition during peak hours. I found the reminders present in an encouraging form instead of a warning. Let’ be a considering guest to others! There were about 10 or 12 washing sinks for teeth blushing or make-up etc. The amenities are enough and suit for ladies! The guest I met was behaved and self-disciplined. Therefore, I was lucky that the environment was well maintained and I didn’t need to wait. Also, sleeping wear was provided and most of the guest wore it included me🤣
There is common area on basement, the only area you can eat, drink and talk on the phone.I stayed on the upper deck. It was spacious to me and it was comfortable. There is independent ventilation of each bed but it was a bit hot to me. Maybe it was my own problem.
お風呂はお湯張りできないんですか?テレビありませんでしたよ。
It's a capsule hotel so all that applies. The staff could be friendlier and the common areas could be a whole lot cleaner. Reasonably safe but luggage is required to be in the lobby for security and in the morning there was no one in the lobby so does not seem so secure. That said, nothing was messed with. Shoes not allowed in the building, shower was fine, and capsules were surprisingly comfortable but only one USB port and not much for environmental controls, which can be expected for a capsule hotel!
