Friendly, welcoming gem of a hotel, with the most amazing food.
Pros:

Peaceful location. Wonderful rooms. But the real thing we loved was the friendliness. Such a welcoming owner and staff. Breakfast and dinner on the terrace felt really special - really outstanding food, with friendly and excellent service. Really wonderful place to stay.

Pros:

We are somewhat conflicted about how to rate this hotel, especially when comparing it to some of the more expensive hotels in Northern Spain. At its price point, it is truly an excellent hotel; on the other hand, the standard of the room (and particularly the bathroom) naturally falls short of higher-category hotels. However, the property boasts extensive grounds, a swimming pool, and green spaces, as well as facilities for table tennis and basketball-amenities our children really appreciated, making them very fond of the hotel.

Cons:

A minor drawback for some might be that, although the hotel feels quite secluded, a major road runs very close by, and traffic noise is audible. In an absolute comparison, the hotel might lose some ground, but within its specific price category, it offers a standard well above the norm.

One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had!
Pros:

This hotel was a little piece of heaven during our trip cycling the north coast of Spain. Everything was exceptional.
From being welcomed by the wonderful staff when we arrived, to the beautiful rustic charm of our room with balcony, to the superb cuisine we had at dinner, along with welcome drinks and the addition of the beautiful secluded pool. This was such an exceptional stay and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful family run hotel close to coast, camino and Santillana del Mar
Pros:

Beautifully restored building and gardens.
Friendly staff and delicious dinners.
Good coastal walks nearby.

Cons:

Breakfast was basic compared to other places.
Reastaurant closed on Sundays but lots of options in Santillana del Mar (10-15 min drive)

Bardzo dobry ludzki kontakt z personelem służący radą w każdym aspekcie gdzie pojechać, co zobaczyć, ale także co wybrać do zjedzenia. Bardzo relaksujące miejsce z zielenią i jakże ważnym basenem. Nie było klimatyzacji, ale nie było też upałów, co pewne jest typowe dla tych terenów. Bardzo dobre jedzenie zarówno na śniadanie, ale także na kolacje. Wszędzie czysto i schludnie cisza spokój dobre miejsce na wypoczynek.

Cons:

Miejsce z dala od wszystkiego, wiec nie było specjalnie gdzie pójść na spacer napić się czegoś czy zjeść tapas. Jedynie dobry spokojny wypczynek a do innych atrakcji trzeba jechać samochodem.
