Albergo Ristorante la Terrazza

Gefallen hat uns die wunderbare Aussicht auf den See. Nicht gefallen hat uns der laute Verkehr den man trotz zuhen Fenstern sehr gut hörte, die sehr schlechte WIFI Verbindung bei uns im oberen Stockwek, abends gabs kein warmes Wasser mehr und das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr mangelhaft.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt, aber sauber. Die Matratzen haben die besten Zeiten schon lange hinter sich. Frühstück wird angeboten aber das ist ein Witz. Das Brot ist alles andere als frisch und dann gab es auch nur Schokoaufstrich und Marmelade. Wir haben dann eigenes Brot gekauft und mit zum Frühstück genommen. Die Eigentümer sind nicht gerade sehr aufgeschlossen. Die Frau vom Frühstück war nett und hat sich mühe gegeben.

Alles in allem würden wir dieses Hotel nicht wieder besuchen und empfehlen.

Sublime vue, grande chambre. Personnel sympathique. Petit déjeuner léger mais bon. Plomberie à revoir.

Letto in parte sfondato (ho dovuto spessorare con un cuscino), acqua calda della doccia nella prima sera non disponibile, luce specchio bagno rotta, aria condizionata presente ma non funzionale (non raffreddava).
Abbiamo anche cenato sul posto, non è così conveniente o così buono da ritornarci.
In generale per una sistemazione budget andrebbe anche bene senza fronzoli eccessivi ma quello che c'è, dovrebbe essere a posto.
Si ha l'impressione che con qualche attenzione in più e/o ammodernamento sarebbe un posto che avrebbe migliori valutazioni, non solo nelle stanze ma anche nelle aree comuni si potrebbe migliorare.

Albergo modesto ma ottima pulizia. Ottima cena presso il ristorante, colazione nella norma.

Close to the lake, with a patio next to the lake. Clean and very friendly staff, could use a “refresher “

Albergo in posizione strategica, vicino all'imbarcadero e a Stresa. Dotato di ristorante interno e quando la stagione lo permette anche di terrazza sul lungolago.
Camere e bagno da ammodernare, ottima la pulizia e personale molto gentile. Assenza di ascensore per raggiungere le camere ai piani più alti.

Camera modesta ma confortevole con bella visuale del lago Maggiore. Purtroppo, affacciandosi sulla litoranea era molto rumorosa per il traffico anche notturno. Personale simpatico e gentile.

Soirée étape au retour de Venise. Hôtel restaurant ancien et pittoresque, ni climatisé, ni insonorisé...peut-être ce qui contribue à son charme. Hôte très gentils...

Abbiamo trovato un hotel semplice, solare, accogliente. Posizione invidiabile: la stanza era vista lago.
Per la visita alle Isole Bortomee non abbiamo però utilizzato l'imbarcadero sotto l'albergo perché le corse sono poche: siamo andati a Stresa (10 minuti in macchina e parcheggio gratuito se si sceglie di fare pochi passi per raggiungere l'imbarco) dove il traghetto parte ogni mezz'ora.
Scomodo il letto matrimoniale: materasso e rete per niente sostenuti. Non è stato possibile pagare col bancomat.

Siamo arrivati verso le una il giorno di Pasqua ed abbiamo pranzato al ristorante in riva al lago. Bellissimo. Abbiamo passato li i due giorni di festa . Albergo piccolo ma molto grazioso e comodo, a sette chilometri da Stresa, dove andavamo con il treno la cui stazione è a dieci minuti. La camera è abbastanza spaziosa ed il bagno ha tutto l'occorrente compreso il phon. Prezzo molto buono.

This is an old hotel which has been altered several times. It is old and quirky but very pleasant. Our rooms had a balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore with magnificent views.

Worst thing about staying here was being locked out and having to climb up the drainpipes to access the bedroom! Myself and my husband were staying at another hotel nearby and our son decided to fly out and join us for a few days, he left us to go back to his accommodation around 10.30pm on the second night to discover he was locked out and there was no-one staying overnight or anyone answering the emergency phone number. The next morning he was handed a key for the main door but had we known the owner or manager wasn't available on the premises so he would either be locked in or locked out we would never have booked it. It is a worry that in an emergency there would be no help available in the night. It may be early in the season but there should be some indication that there is no-one available other than for breakfast and the premises will be locked or closed during the day and night. Not much of a breakfast, had early evening meal there the first night (looked to be reasonably priced on menu - risotto between 2, small dish of ravioli, beer and half carafe of house wine) but when we paid bill at the end of the stay, it appears to have cost another 70 Euros with no invoice or receipt provided. We generally paid around 40 Euros for similar meals elsewhere in much better establishments and the wine is generally cheap in Italy!
