Service was nice
Friendly and good place for jogging in the morning and amazing view.
Clean, provide utensils for simple cooking.
Provide small towel for shower, 1 pillow per person & noise from corridor when people passes by.

we had to check in late and even had requested for late check in but was scolded by the old staff who was in the room behind the counter. don’t know what’s so hard to just attend to us.
I loved this small hotel that is run by a lovely older couple.
It seemed like it was of season as I had the pool area almost to myself the first three weeks of October. Lovely pool and only 100 meters down some steps to the ocean. There are even small barbecues you can borrow/rent at the pool area.
Big room with a pentry and everything you need for preparing a meal. Silent and effective ac. Big comfortable bed. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and toothpaste included but no lotion. Three pairs of slippers. A pair for the main room, a pair for the bathroom and a pair for the balcony.
Coffee and water is found in the lobby. No extra charge. Great place to just relax.
Although everything is in Korean and the staff don't speak English, you'll get by with a translator app.
I found a larger grocery store less than two kilometers away but there is a small "7/11" right next to the hotel.
Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
The view from the hotel is spectacular.
Some criticism.
Like I mentioned. Everything is in Korean. I even had to use a translator app to use the ac remote control.
Rooms are only cleaned every 4th or 5th day.
The light switch for all lamps is placed on a wall in the main room. Even the lights for the bathroom.
There is some kind of schedule for the warm water that I couldn't understand. There were warm water in the morning and after 3pm.
I didn't see a shower by the pool.
These are minor inconveniences that really didn't disturb my stay att the hotel.

Maar 1 grote handdoek voor 4 nachten (je kon wel extra kleine handdoekjes krijgen), geen schoonmaak, kamer zonder balkon en geen uitzicht op zee (maar daardoor wel rustig)

I know I should start with the positives about my stay... Let's see... Perhaps the location and the spaciousness of the room? The seaside view. It looked very promising at first. But out of the four nights I stayed here, I only slept one.
The negative points then. When I arrived there was a wedding party. I got a room on the first floor next to the pool and next to the rooms where the wedding guests were staying. The pool area was supposed to be closed at 8pm but the party continued until well after midnight. Slamming of doors all of the time and (noisy) children running through the corridor. Didn't get much sleep that first night.
The staff could move me to a room on the second floor but not on that first night. I refused, thinking that after that first horrible night, the wedding group would be gone and it would be quiet. It's also what the staff claimed.
But it got even worse. The second night when I arrived back at the hotel near 10pm the pool was still open and guests still running around and slamming doors.
The third night I managed to sleep. Wow.
But he fourth night there was again a party. Not in the pool area (which had already been closed since the night before) but outside of the hotel. Guests were definitely drunk, were launching fireworks outside, singing loudly... When they entered their rooms again (on the first floor obviously) they had to throw away their glass bottles in the bins that are in the corridor. 2am.
This hotel seems to be for parties, not for sleeping. I came to Jeju to go hiking and needed my rest. Staying in this hotel ruined this part of my trip.
No respect at all from other guests and even though the staff were friendly. They hardly spoke English. They didn't respond to messages (well it appears I only got their message to ask to change rooms after I checked out) and they definitely didn't ask other guests to be quiet. This should at least be hotel policy, seen that the hotel walls are so thin and you can follow any conversation of the room next door through the walls.
This is definitely a hotel to avoid!

Overall underwhelming for this price. My “Mountain View” room was mainly looking out on the parking lot and there was quite a bit of black mold in the bathroom. For this price I also expected the pool and everything to be included. I definitely stayed in cheaper places that were way better.
