You get what you pay for, and the price was low.
Pros:

Liked it was along the river, though couldn’t walk by the river. Large parking lot. Price was right for what was offered.

Cons:

Very outdated decor. Shower head was very low and low water pressure. Bed was low and a bit lumpy. AC struggled to cool the room. No breakfast provided.

Worth it for the view otherwise probably better options
Pros:

The view of the Mississippi River was beautiful especially at sunset. The room was spacious. The towels were nice.

Cons:

The walls are not soundproof and aside from hearing someone's night time activities an annoying alarm was going off from 3 am until 6am. The food options are slim as there is only the casino close by. Our patio door was bent up with a new lock fitted and very hard to open and lock.

Good stay , but construction made it difficult to enjoy completely
Pros:

I loved the balcony and the view was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a huge jetted tub and walk-in shower. Overall, the staff was nice.

Cons:

There was construction going on during the day, which we were not made aware of until we were suddenly hearing a constant loud and very disruptive noise. My husband and I were under the weather for 2 of our 5-days stay and couldn't rest due to the constant sound of drilling and the use of other equipment that felt like it was taking place next door. Then, we felt like we had to leave our room during the day to get any peace. When I called the front desk and asked about it, my concerns seemed to be shrugged off by an afternoon staff member and I was simply told that there was a sign in the lobby. Regardless, it was too late to cancel my reservation without a penalty. Though I know that improvements and construction must be done, it should have been displayed on the website or booking site so customers can make that decision BEFORE booking a room. Other minor things were that there was no closet or coffee-maker.
