Situated in an attractive, historic market town with plenty of places to eat.

Vehicular not ideal although 'drop off' for suitcases wasn't difficult and secure (paid) parking only a short walk away.
Very dog friendly, in bar area and room. Given a quieter room on the 3rd floor. Which suited us with the dog, as it was air conditioned and away from the noise of the England World cup game going on at 2am, which they also gave a free drink each as compensation of the football being shown next door in the garden to the rear. Our room was at the front. Staff were fantastic and acomodated the dog in the building. Very dog friendly. Central to Hertford Town, parking was in the local council multistorey very well priced and easy walking distance.
Only negative we had was the price of the breakfast. If you pay £10.50 each, your only allowed one selection from the menu and 2 drinks. Get charged if you'd like 2 items like fruit birches and scrambled eggs or fruit compote and eggs benediction for example. Plenty of places to eat around the town at competitive prices.
I liked all the extra touches in the room. Slippers, great toiletries, fluffy towels and bottled water- a choice of still or sparkling. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. Location was perfect.
There was nothing I didn't like
Mycket trevlig personal, rummet var bekvämt med air-conditioning vilket var mycket bra eftersom det var mycket varmt ute. Välstädat och renbäddat och nya handdukar varje dag. Hotellet ligger mycket centralt.
Vi hade vårt rum på tredje våningen och det var väl isolerat som dämpade ljud utifrån.
Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse
Där finns inget som vi inte tyckte om.
