From the moment you arrive you get a very warm welcome.
Zoe and her colleague was on duty the day I arrived and explained everything to me.
I had a nice sized room with a great shower.

Comfy bed, clean modern decor. Yummy breakfast.
We stayed on a busy Saturday night and our room overlooked the square. Noise continued till past midnight. It did t bother us too much though and we still slept well.

No car park and i got a ticket for overnight parking in the nearby multistorey car park.
After a warm welcome, we were shown to a room with a lovely view over the square. Hertford House is located amid town centre shops and Hertford’s main attractions. As there was a heatwave, the air conditioning in our room was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable, the shower was superb and the service was good. We did not have breakfast this time as we were visiting family who provided it. On previous occasions we have found the breakfast to be very good. We had an evening drink on a warm summer’s evening in the square and found the bar staff most courteous and friendly.

The hidden fee at the desk
Hotel is in a great, central location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything you need. A great little coffee station, clean bathroom with a nice selection of complimentary toiletries, smart TV, good wifi, comfortable bed. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. We selected a stay including breakfast, and it's a must! The service and the food are both 10/10. Could not have asked for a better stay.
No parking nearby - there are plenty of car parks in Hertford, so it's not the worst thing, but we just needed to drop off our luggage and check in, which meant leaving the car in a loading bay for a few minutes.
