Pros:

A quaint old place. The room was clean. The staircase was the feature.

Cons:

The room could best be described as a box room! It would still have been too small, even if it had a single bed in there.

Nice stairs, very basic facilities.
Cons:

The security light outside our window kept going off and the guy delivering the kegs at 3am in the morning woke us up as it was so noisy.

Pros:

Clean sheets..clean bathroom..great location

Cons:

No tv in room..a bit noisy at night with creaky hallway floor boards and people going in and out of their rooms.

Close to everything.

Cons:

No one helped us get our luggage up those huge stairs to our room. The floors boards creaked so badly, we couldn’t sleep.

Beautiful old pub with good accommodation, meals and friendly staff.
Pros:

Centre of town, right across the road from the Wilderness Railway. Good meals. Great accommodation. Beautiful, old heritage style pub. Great staff especially Squizzy and Jarrod.

Cons:

The hot water or lack of. The rooms and ensuites were great but the hot water for showers was non existent. Two days of cold showers isn’t ideal in freezing cold weather.

Pros:

Convenient location and clean ensuite. Historic staircase was impressive. Meals offered in the dining room were tasty and promptly served. Monday evening was not a busy night. Breakfast simple but OK.

A good stop over
Pros:

Easy to book in. We ate in that night and the meal was good and well priced.

Cons:

While the rooms were small, they contained everything that you need.
