Lovely old pub with great meals. Comfy bed.
Pros:

Lovely old pub central to Main Street. Beautiful Blackwood staircase. Comfy and clean. Good pub meals.

Cons:

The fire alarm went off at 830 pm and again at 0500! I guess you can’t predict that tho.

The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good and the location is in the town center. Although the bathrooms are shared with others, they look like newly renovated and very spacious and clean.

Beware there’s no lift or elevator. We had to walk with luggage three flights of stairs very annoying.

It was a privilege to stay in such a magnificent and historical building.
Pros:

Incredible old building with amazing wooden staircase and furniture. Huge restored modern bathrooms and in the heart of town.

loved the old hotel and the feel it gives. convenient to have bar bottle shop and restaurant just downstairs. beautiful stair case and history documented around. basic breakfast provided in the dining area.

Cons:

room was super small- just a bed which took up ALL of the space and a small bathroom.

Above our expectations for a small, remote town. Comfortable and had everything we needed
Pros:

The room was small but enough for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was clean and fresh. Even had an electric blanket! There was a small heater which made the room so cosy. A small ensuite was perfect. We could access our apps on the TV, it was great! The dinner we had was also great!

Great value for money, staff super helpful and friendly, meals are the best I have ever had
Pros:

Meals are amazing! Bathrooms updated and very clean. Bedrooms very clean, warm, beds are very very comfortable. Hotel was right across the road from the main tourist attraction. I will definitely stay here again

Old historic building yet provided comfort
Pros:

Clean and good price.
Loved the old 2-storey heritage building and enjoyed the history of it.
We only stayed one night while passing through during our way to Hobart.
