It is conveniently located to the wilderness train and central business area of Queenstown. The room was clean and spacious with a modern ensuite. The hotel offers a reasonable meal in the dining area.

Cons:

The stairs are a bit of a climb with luggage as there are no downstairs rooms available.

Great location, enjoyed our stay in this historic pub.
Pros:

Loved the Blackwood staircase and old pub feel. Great location, room basic but clean and comfortable. Staff friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was great!

Cons:

Bed was a little squeaky

DISAPPOINTING FOOD
Pros:

Good central location.

Cons:

Rooms are very basic set up. No bench space in bathroom for toiletties.
Food in the dining room was not at the same quality as visiting 3 years ago. Had the worst sticky date pudding there in my life. The garlic prawns were lacking any garlic flavour too.

A quaint old place. The room was clean. The staircase was the feature.

The room could best be described as a box room! It would still have been too small, even if it had a single bed in there.

Nice stairs, very basic facilities.
Cons:

The security light outside our window kept going off and the guy delivering the kegs at 3am in the morning woke us up as it was so noisy.
