Good location nice meals would be nice to have a car park not the street
Nothing
the old-world charm, but the room was nice and modernised, high ceiling and an amazing view. We got the best room they had
the town is a little quite so not a lot to do
Bedrooms a bit small but clean and tidy. Great staff and good food in the restaurant. Lovely old building and full of history
Central location. Quirky.
Bar shut at 8 pm even to residents. Overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was a bowl of cereal (4 choices), toast and jam or honey, coffee and tea and a piece of fruit.
Centrally located opposite the West Coast Wilderness Railway Station. Easy access to the main street. Lots of historic charm. Meals were good - typical pub fare. The heritage of the Hotel was a big plus
Lack of off street parking was an issue - especially as it gets busy with the West Coast Railway being so popular.
As a disabled person, the lack of a lift or disabled access was very problematic. The steep, heritage listed stairs are beautiful but impractical for anyone with poor mobility. The Hotel really should consider putting in a lift somewhere.
It's near the wilderness train.
The kitchen closed an hour ahead of schedule and the breakfast is very rudimentary.
Great location. Beautiful historic hotel. Nice breakfast.
No towel rails at all in the bathroom.
Large room with access to balcony at front of hotel
Self service breakfast limited choice. Dining Room closed early on Australia Day
Restaurant was good, food was great. Was handy being across the road to the train station.
The rooms smelt a bit musty.
Aangename, goed verwarmde kamer.
Nette badkamer.
Prima locatie.
Historisch kader.
Ontbijtbuffet: eerder beperkt.
Historical nature right in town.
Breakfast not suited to our diet.
Fabulous stay very a very good price. Staff were lovely. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were shared but there were so many we had one to ourselves, they were very clean and newly renovated. Free breakfast kept as going till lunch. Lovely stay in the historic pub
Very happy.
Beautiful historic building, room was tidy and clean.
Issue with music playing late and then starting early again (5am) at the pub below. Continental breakfast was very very basic.
The ambience of the lounge
The restaurant food was delicious and well priced. Breakfast was "Continental", toast and/or ceral, juice and/or tea coffee.
There is a small kitchenette upstairs to make toast, a cup of tea or coffee and a microwave.
The staff were friendly
