Great hotel, amazing location close to amenities, great choice for breakfast and the best bed ever!

Cons:

I appeared staff got their wires crossed as we were told bar food was available, then when we were in the bar the staff said it wasn't and they had to check. We brought this up at reception the next day and they said food was always available in the bar until 8.30pm. also when we returned after breakfast on the first morning of a 2 night stay the cleaning staff were already in our room , we told them we were staying 2 nights but they still returned to clean the room again so we repeated the message. we then got a call from reception asking us to verify the name in which the room was booked. A little breakdown of staff communication maybe. That apart we couldn't have had a better stay

Disappointing.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent in every way.

Cons:

There was an odour in the room ( 23 ) from the moment we walked in. I believe it was related to the hotel’s waste system. It was particularly noticeable in the bathroom.

The receptionist did not seem particularly concerned when I mentioned it. He was unable to find another twin room so we had to make do.

There was no soundproofing in room 23. We were subject to every single conversation both loud and quiet from guests walking past the room. It literally felt like the walls were made of paper.

In the early hours we had to endure the deeply unpleasant experience of another guest mistakenly entering our room using his guest room card. Thankfully he left upon realising his error.

Nice hotel, away from the town. Walkway along the water was wonderful.
Pros:

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Very nice dining room and view.

Cons:

Our room looked out over the roof of the lobby, not very scenic. Bathroom could use a little upgrade.

Pros:

Location. The bar was cosy. The hotel was spacious. Our room was a little in the back of beyond but it was clean and comfortable enough.

Cons:

Our evening server for our bar meal was efficient but lacked personal skills. We felt a bit rushed and when he knocked off dead on 8.30 we understood why he was so keen!

I would be back it was a lovely hotel, staff friendly but hope they have a better menu

Breakfast has a good choice and very tasty, dinner could have had more on menu as it only has pub meals and only a few to choose from for a lovely hotel. the room was very clean and plenty of room and every thing you need was there the bathroom was big and very clean,
