SPOT ON 90139 Hotel Galaxy

This hotel is infested with mould including the room we were given! We asked the man on the front desk if we could move rooms, shocked that he had placed us in such room and he showed us to a new room which had no visible mould but still smelt strongly of mould (mould had clearly been painted over). We had arrived at 2am from our flight so we had to stay until morning. We had booked 4 nights but checked out straight away in the morning!! I advised the new man on the front desk that we were checking out because of the mould and I asked for a refund of the room tax we had paid in cash when we arrived for the 3 nights we wouldn’t be staying there. He had a huge grin on his face and refused to give this back to us. He apologised for the mould but it was not genuine. Luckily Expedia refunded me very quickly. We lost our money on the room tax but oh well, we are glad we are out of there!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

ทำเลที่พักดีมาก ใจกลางแหล่งชอปปิ้งและย่านของกินกลางคืน ใกล้รถไฟฟ้าและใต้ดินเดินไม่ถึง 5 นาที แต่ที่พักไม่สะอาด ชื้นและผนังมีเชื้อรา มีทีวีประดับห้องซึ่งไม่สามารถดูได้ เข้าพักเพื่อแวะอาบน้ำและเก็บสำภาระเพื่อชอปปิ้งแล้วเดินทางต่อ หากต้องการความสะอาดไม่แนะนำเลย แต่หากแค่แวะอาบน้ำและเก็บสำภาระแนะนำเพราะราคาไม่สูงมากและไกลรถไฟฟ้าและแหล่งชอปปิ้งของกินต่างๆ

A very simple hotel amidst street food stalls n a huge pile of rubbish a few steps away.
Musty smell fills the corridors - and yes, better check your towels before you use them. Mine had yellow stains which I had to replace with the apologetic, obliging and friendly front desk guy.
If you are cleanliness concious, be warned - at least bring your own towels!

Oh, and must I add, I was welcome by a long legged spider on the stained wall outside my toilet, as i opened my door to my room! Sigh....
I had to get the wonderfully obliging front desk guy to remove it.
Just when I thought i could finally spend the night alone, I realized i had a tiny cockroach companion up the wall above my bed. Sigh....
And that slanted picture beside my bed! Damn! Thank Heavens it didnt fall onto me as I slept.

Well.... the Galaxy ain't all that nasty as they say, but the toilet is relatively big as compared to other budget hotels in the area, and if you need to extend your room beyond your check out time, they charge you by the hour.

You'll love the extremely convenient location in the vibrant bukit bintang area where you will never get bored.

The hotel was terrible , the space of the room and toilet was extremely small , and it's located in the basement so no signal in the room , WiFi is not accessible , no hot shower , the place is old and dirty , smelly , the door key is from Mr DIY store which mean anyone can enter ur room even though u locked it , this the worst hotel I been and it gives me nightmare , the only good thing is it's located right in the Alor Street
