Ocean Lodge

The Ocean Lodge is in a beautiful setting. The views are absolutely fabulous! You can take a beautiful walk to the beach right from a short pathway within walking distance right next to the hotel. It was wonderful to have everything onsite such as the restaurant with live entertainment at night, and the breathtaking views from the hotel. In our travel there from Connemara it was a little hard for us to find as we took the back roads but well worth it when we finally arrived as it is in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay however, the only complaints I would have is that I really did not get a real sense of warm hospitality during our stay as we did have to search for the staff when we had a question, and even though we did arrive late I was disappointed when no one was there to greet us upon arrival. The beds in our room were also not very comfortable and the room did not have a welcoming feel.

Cadre magnifique avec vue sur l'océan, qui est à 200m ! Hôtel/Pub/Restaurant en campagne mais animé comme lieu de rassemblement. Le personnel est local, chaleureux et convivial. Propre, familial, sans être hôtel de luxe. A conseiller absolument, seul ou accompagné !

Location and views were amazing. Down side was it was a Saturday night and the noise from downstairs and outside didn't stop until 2 am.

Pas beaucoup de choix dans e menu repas. Absence de poissons et de mouton dans le menu alors qu'il y'a des moutons partout et la mer est à deux pas.
Prestations basiques mais le prix est celui d'un 4 étoiles!

Das Hotel ist an einem wunderschönen Ort gelegen - Sicht auf den Ozean ! Ein sehr schöner Ort unweit der bekannten Connemara.

For Dinner we ate at the Restaurant. It was really good, also the breakfast.

Amazing view, good food, great bar and a lovely run family business. The sea is only 5mins by foot away. The room was very clean and comfortable!

All the staff were very friendly, location is very remote but has stunning views of the ocean. Accomodation is very basic but reseaonable clean. Stayed on a Saturday night and there was a birthday party in the bar below my room which went on till 4 am , not ideal. Breakfast was very nice though.

It was an amazing hotel would highly recommend it staff, food, rooms, top quality

Great stuff. Not as updated as most tourists miggt expect but that's part of the charm. Great access to beaches. Recommended. Great for family vacations or for the lone traveller.

Gorgeous views of the ocean. Staff very friendly. Owner made us breakfast the next morning (more than just a buffet breakfast). Nice pub atmosphere downstairs. Need car to find the place, follow the signs. Short (10 min) walk to the ocean (don't expect to swim as often rough with strong current) but great for relaxation.
