The location was easy to locate with adequate parking and was situated close to a local shop. The staff were polite and helpful. General first impressions upon entering the property were positive.
This property could benefit from investing in some kind of sound proofing solution. Whilst every other visitor has paid for their stay, the very least of expectations would be to not feel as though you're sharing your room with strangers. TV's and conversations could easily be heard through the walls for example. Further to this, the individuals in the room next to us were being 'intimate' and unfortunately this was quite audible and kept me awake for an additional hour.
In the second room that formed part our booking, the right hand side of the bed was collapsed... it appears as though both the mattress and slats had been damaged. My question is, how long has this been like that, and why hasn't the bed frame and mattress been replaced in time for the next customer? I'd much rather sleep on own sofa before paying to sleep on a broken bed.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful
Room was so small and bathroom, well I don’t know how to describe it. Never seen one like it before.
Breakfasts on both days was disappointing. First ones in restaurant and food was already cold.
The building, including the restaurant was lovely
Glad I had earplugs, as doors and floorboards are squeaky
The room was good especially the copper bath. The food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. The staff were polite and helpful.
The only very minor gripe was the mattress was a bit firm.
Unbelievable chalet
Had an issue with the hot water. Shower was unbelievably hot unable to turn it down. Tried to run a bath then hot water cut off after less than quarter of a bath ran. Still didnt have any hot water the next morning
