Cons:

The wall paper was peeling away all over the hotel, the room was difficult to keep comfortable. Was humid and musty. It was ok for what we needed it for. Convenient for the competition.

Underwhelming and in need of some upkeep and consideration of being a guest
Pros:

Good sports facilities. Big comfy bed, very spacious room.

Cons:

It's all a bit dated and in need of some upkeep, there was a distinct musty / retirement home smell in the room. The sofa was stained and dirty with no pillows. The water was lukewarm even on the hottest setting (it was resolved after raising with staff but I shouldn't have to). The pillows were weirdly short and some were very lumpy. The room had many metal beams (it's an old warehouse so expected) but they were all coated in 1/4 inch of dust. It could be exceptional but the guest experience and cleanliness hasn't been considered enough. Just a note that there's no need to explain how a key card in a hotel works every time guests check in, though the huge gunshot type bang when inserting and removing the key card for electricity is ridiculous and needs resolving.
