the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows too high and the wifi in my room was not working well.

The roof top sun terrace was really good altho we had to ask for towels some days whilst other days they were already out.
Great location to explore Madrid on foot or by Metro
Lots of youths tend to congregate outside the hotel in the evenings and there seemed a constant police presence both outside and inside the hotel.
The bed was very comfortable and the view of Plaza de España was grand. The room was clean and well stocked. The breakfast was a fantastic surprise.
The room was noisy (we could hear other guests walking and shuffling in adjacent rooms) and the water in the shower was only warm, not hot. The bathroom products were not great quality (shampoo, conditioner, etc.).
