Location and the hotel standard
Having to check in with passport or driving license. If you had neither you’re not allowed to stay prepaid or not. Never experienced this in the UK, unacceptable.
Rooms were poorly insulated so at 1am you could hear talking in one side, Tv on the other and banging around above. Not good at all. No hot breakfast option which for a higher class hotel is poor.

Serious value for money. Both the young Lady on evening reception and the Gentleman on Morning breakfast duties were truly customer focused and absolute assets to the Hotel.
Evening meal was good value and quality.
I would have no hesitation in staying here again
proximity to station
No hot breakfast was available, and the morning male staff member was rude. The ladies working in the evening were very friendly and nice. The rooms smelled like fresh paint, and the hallway smelled weird. The bed was not good either. I would expect better standards from a hotel marked as 4 stars, quite honestly.

Small room, uncomfortable single bed, ensuite small, shower warm ish, noise between rooms, could hear everything the joining room was doing from Tv to their phone call speech.

I paid £53 for one night, which is perfect prive .
If you keep the price at £53 when I do come I will definitely book again.
The receptionist upgrade me to a double bed , which was very kind of her.
