Pros:

Loved the features in hotel, the history, l love that it's not modern , that's not a bad thing, staff where fabulous, easy going, had lovely views from the room, I could have stayed there forever, felt like home, I have a mobile home in the redstrand so very familiar with the town

The venue was very good, but the breakfast service definitely influenced my overall impression
Pros:

Very clean, warm welcome, good evening meal, very clean, comfortable and warm room

Cons:

The venue offers breakfast to residents and non residents. It is not clear what process residents should follow (there is a buffet service) but when I asked I was told to take a seat and I would be served. Service was not very prompt even though the breakfast room was not busy and the waitress was not overly hospitable. When the food was served, the food was of a good standard

Worth the drive
Pros:

Everything from start to finish was spot on. We were given a loft apartment was only expecting double room. Location spot on, breakfast top notch. Hotel itself not noisy even though we backed onto the lift. Can I find fault? No - the rain was pouring but thats hardly controllable. Will be back.
