Pros:

Niets het kwam totaal niet overeen met de foto’s.

Cons:

Eten is te weinig en kwaliteit verschilt per dag. Het ging van redelijk naar slecht. Geen toast brood voor de kleine.

Quiet stay away from the busy town
Pros:

We had a great stay in one of the private villas with pool. We enjoyed the quieter location and the food in the hotel was excellent, with good options nearby as well. The villa could do with some minor fixes but nothing that took away from the stay. The staff did everything to make it a pleasant stay for us.

Cons:

Some easy maintenance that would improve it further would be to ensure little gaps for mosquitos are fixed up, adding a mosquito net for the top bed and fixing some of the pool tiles.

El restaurante estaba muy bueno. La habitación era grande, con cocina y piscina privada.

Cons:

La puerta no cerraba bien y la habitación no estaba del todo limpia. Falta algo de mantenimiento a las instalaciones

Insalubre des animaux de toutes sortens dans la chambre lit pas du tous confortable les draps n’ont pas était changer tous le long du séjours (4 jours ). Ma fille de 1 ans sais faite attaquer par les moustiques malgres les produit acheter en pharmacie est la moustiquaire, plusieurs type de lézards on partager nos nuits la Clim fuyait de partout personnels accueillant

Pros:

There’s something for everyone at Gusde Tranquil Villas, and a budget to suit every traveler.

Sure, some of the older villas are a bit basic in terms of what the have to offer I.e no kitchen etc, but with so many amazing restaurants nearby, including Sacred Rice just across the road, and travellers espresso just a few short steps away, why would you need a kitchen anyway.

Also, the restaurant at the villa is also very good, serving a great breakfast, and coffee is good too.

And if you’re willing to spent little more money, you get an upgraded double story modern and spacious villa, with its own private swimming pool.

And if all the places we stayed in an around Bali Guade easily had the most friendly and accommodating staff, which makes us keen to book our next holiday with them as well!

Pro tip, traffic around Ubud is a nightmare! Getting around on motor scooters ia much faster than by car, but you can also walk into town from Gusde in about 30mins. Which is half the time that it takes for a taxi to travel the same distance!

Highly recommended, and we will be back !

not a nice stay. wish we had stayed at our nice hotel, which was actually cheaper.

It was serene.

Cons:

The villa is not as described. There is no rice field view, but an ugly old block of land. Access to upstairs bedroom is via outside stair case - not very convenient and safe to put my kids there alone. We had paid for breakfast and dinner - both had minimal options and unsuitable for children, there was a pancake option for breakfast and the pancakes were raw inside. No dessert for the dinner, and we just skipped dinner and breakfast the last day. My kids got severely bitten by mosquitos during the night. WiFi was very intermittent.
