A hotel that offers a unique common area with art, games and books in a creative cozy atmosphere
Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful! They light the little fireplace, and its so pretty and cozy while you eat. My favorite was the Ping Pong table anf foozball. But also I loved the soft jazz and classical music in the background. The ambiance is artistic and intellectual - there are tons of books and maps, paintings. We really enjoyed ourselves. I liked the salad bar a lot.

Cons:

I'd have to really think. Its just that this was a unique place. I liked this place very much. I'm sorry.

Feel at home in this quaint mountain town
Pros:

I loved the common hang out area behind the dining area. It was cozy & comfortable and had lots of fun games. (ping pong, fusbol, board games, etc...) The restaurant staff were so friendly, the food was very good and the breakfast buffet was really nice. The rooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable with 2 fuzzy, warm blankets and a fluffy comforter. All around excellent stay.

Pros:

Rustic gem in Cerro Punta. If you want to have a true small town experience yet have all the comforts, this is the place. The restaurant and the attached common guest space is the highlight. The staff is super friendly and make you truly feel at home.

A wonderful hotel in a stunningly beautiful place with great staff and delicious food.
Pros:

The location is amazing, a stunningly beautiful village in the mountains, close to the forest and great hiking trails. The staff were super friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The food was fantastic too... every day there was fresh fruit for breakfast and a salad bar stocked mainly with produce from the hotel's garden. All the food was freshly prepared, and delicious. At the weekend there was a buffet breakfast and during the week it was a la carte. We especially liked the pancakes for breakfast, the soups, home made bread, pizzas and pastas, and the wine selection. Our room was very comfortable, and there were seats on the balcony looking out past the hummingbird feeders (with plentiful birds at all times) to the garden. All in all it was a super relaxing stay, in a beautiful location surrounded by friendly staff and great food.

When I arrived to check in, I could not find anyone. Fortunately, a dog came and found me and me and led me to someone who checked me in. I reserved a room with a fireplace but was told that if I wanted a fireplace, I would have to pay extra. Room was very cramped and always cold. Water eventually ran hot but in a limited supply. Dining room options were limited but the food was good. Loved the balcony porch overlooking the garden. Very friendly dogs

The food, the staff and the location. The hotel has board games, ping pong tables and a library that I really enjoyed.

Cons:

Food safety is not good. There’s a lot of flies inside the restaurant and near the salad bar. The hotel have not taken any countermeasures to control that (like UV lamps to kill flies). The room needs an upgrade. Our mattress was hard and the sheets had a little of dust.
