This is a fascinating house! Despite its age, it is beautiful, quite comfortable and quiet. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

There was some problem with the bath: the plug could not retain an inch of water. But the shower worked for me very well.
The TV set in my room didn't work.

Tolles altes Hotel wird grausam geführt.
Pros:

Der Ritter in Heidelberg ist ein altehrwürdiges Hotel .
Es hat sehr sehr viel Potenzial , welches aber absolut nicht ausgeschöpft wird.

Cons:

Der Portier am Empfang hatte absolut keinen Plan, von dem was er machen sollte .
Ich stand etwa 10 Minuten unbeachtet vor seinem Tresen während er an seinem Telefon rumtippte und wischte .
Bis mir der Kragen platzte und ich ihn unsanft aus seiner Litargie riss.
Daraufhin fand er erst meine Buchung nicht und behauptete später ich sei schon eingecheckt und auch schon da. (Wirklich ein Meister seines Faches ) Ich musste ihm Dan mühsam erklären , dass derjenige der schon eingecheckt sei mein Bruder sei und ich eine andere Buchung hätte.
Die ganze „Rezeption“ war, ich möchte nicht sagen vermüllt, aber es war eine derartige Unordnung wie in einer türkischen Würfelbude.
Jetzt mache ich es kurz .
Zimmer war groß und Bett bequem. Allerdings war es eiskalt in dem Zimmer und nichts passt es richtig zusammen.
Es war mein erstes Hotelzimmer, in dem kein Fernseher zu finden war.
Das Frühstück war auch nichts besonderes, obwohl die Bedienung falls auffindbar bemüht ..
Alles in allem, hat das, dass traditionsreiche Hotel zu Ritter nicht verdient.
Bar und Restaurant langfristig geschlossen.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und das Parkhaus ca 5 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Allerdings kostet es einiges...

Die Dusche hat Stockflecken, aber nichts was man nicht auch schon mal im privaten gesehen hat.
