2 Day Break in Zurich area before heading South to Montreux

Dining Room was superb & Staff (Christian & Polish Member of Staff - outstanding).
Traditional Building
Nice town - easy access to Station.

Cons:

3rd Floor location of Room was extremely difficult to manage for over 60's with 2 large suitcases, no assistance or lift.
Room itself had sloping ceiling making movement around Room difficult especially toilet area.

Ein schöner Etappenort für eine mehrtätige Radtour, direkt am See gelegen.
Pros:

Das Morgenessen im Restaurant war grosszügig und bot eine schöne Auswahl.
Der Kaffee wurde vom Personal serviert, was wir beide sehr schätzen.
Das Restaurant hat einen hohen Standard und ist zu empfehlen, wenn auch nicht ganz günstig.

Cons:

Die Zimmerausstattung war etwas schäbig und zum Teil renovationsbedürftig.
Unser Bett in Zimmer 11 war sehr schmal.
Der Lärm von der nahen Strasse ist unangenehm und störend.

Pros:

Das Pesonal war super und das Restaurant, Terasse waren sehr schön.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war nicht sauber. Es hate Spinnenfäden an den Fenster. Die Regendusche und der Offen im Bad waren defekt. Sowie die eine Lampe im Zimmer. Zudem war das Zimmer gegen die Strasse sehr laut.

Schönes Hotel an toller Lage
Pros:

Freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, grosses Zimmer mit Blick auf den See.
Schöne Gartenterrasse

Cons:

Zimmer und Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auch den Staubwischer sollte wiedermal benutzt werden.

Excellent location, nice room, unfriendly staff.
Pros:

Great location, right on the lake. Swam from infront of the hotel. Very good lunch on the verandah for a wedding celebration. Comfortable beds and room looking at the lake.

Cons:

We found the staff unhelpful and indifferent. For example, my daughter changed rooms and left her nightdress in the first and they displayed no interest in helping her retrieve it.

Charmant séjour au bord du lac de Zürich.
Pros:

L’emplacement magnifique au bord du lac. Le bâtiment lui même, avec le salon “am See” calme et accueillant. La vue depuis la chambre. Les lits et la literie très confortables, la salle de bains. Le staff très à l’écoute. Le petit déjeuner varié, le restaurant très charmant avec une très jolie terrasse au bord du lac. Les repas délicieux.

Cons:

L’hôtel est un peu vieillot mais cela peut faire partie du charme. Pas de peignoirs de bain dans la chambre alors qu’ils figuraient dans la description. Les produits n’étaient pas de Clarins comme mentionné dans la description mais de Molton Brown que nous avons beaucoup apprécié aussi. Les prix du restaurant sont trop élevés.
Donc rien de bien grave :)

Idyllischer Aufenthalt am See
Pros:

Die Lage am See ist wunderbar. Die Bushaltestellen sind sehr nah vom Hotel. Somit auch gut erreichbar vom Bahnhof aus. Komfortables Zimmer mit sehr bequemem Bett. Unbedingt Seeseite buchen. Gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Da das Hotel keinen Lift hat, werden einige Leute Mühe haben, die Treppen bis zum 3. Stock zu nehmen. Für uns spielte es keine Rolle. Unser Zimmer im 3. Stock hatte starke Dachschräge. Mein Mann musste aufpassen, den Kopf nicht anzuschlagen.

Lage, Ambiente, nettes Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr gut!

Cons:

Zimmer war ziemlich staubig. Frottewäsche mit Spuren. Diese wurden sofort ersetzt.
