When we are going to a hotel, with 3 stars and huge brand, and it's not our first time....say it's our more than tens of times... we'd like being welcomed and feel like home and being recognized.

We don't need a feeling to come in a government office, with bureaucratic reception and cold. Specially we aren't the first timer.

Another yet astonishing, give the security a raise. Not just BCA has hospite security staffs, but the hotel security were doing excellent jobs. Specially the night shift...

Forward to dinning experience, we had wonderful experience. My little 6 y.o son asked for waffel and they were out of stock. I understand it, considering they are closing, we had last minute breakfast. The frontliner cook said it's finished, out of stock. Looking at our little son bit dissapointed, the supervisor spontanuesly told us to wait, they will make it to us. A lovely solution for us.

No doubt FaveHotel Banjarbaru is your first choice, if you are looking for family friendly and to notch staff service.

I was having a short staycation with my husband, we decided to stay at favehotel Banjarbaru Banjarmasin. We always love to come back here, the hotel is like a savanah in the middle of desert (read : a crowds city). The staff was amazing, they were so helpful and incredibly friendly. They welcomed us with a plate of fruit in our room, what a shocking great services. On the evening, my husband and i try the special event called Dokar (Dodolan Bakar), it is like barbeques of many variants of meat to choose, they served it with 6 kind or maybe more (i forget exactly how much) of sauces , and the price is only 5K /item. The breakfast is complete and they had a cute stall for Indomie also they served a traditional Indonesian Drink, Jamu. Do not forget to try the swimming pool if you got there. I stayed 3 nights in Favehotel Banjarbaru for business purposes. The main selling point of this hotel is the location which is not far from the airport, whereas Banjarmasin town is almost 30km away. Further since it is out of Banjarmasin town, it allows for faster travel to out of town destinations without getting stuck in the Banjarmasin traffic jam.

Favehotel is a budget brand under the Aston group and I was actually impressed with the general feel and cleanliness of the hotel.

Unfortunately the housekeeping was not really meticulous as I found out that some food bits that fell on the floor the night before were not swept away while the bed was made up and the bathroom shown signs of cleaning.

Breakfast has good options and I particularly enjoyed the soto banjar and bubur ketan hitam which are not found regularly in other places. However I observed that for 2 days in a row the food was the same. So lack of variety is an issue that needs to be addressed.

All in all I liked this hotel especially considering its pricing which was very reasonable for the service and room comfort.

Stay here for family and business trip. Friendly and helpfull staff even the Manager. Its a simply hotel in small town like Banjarbaru. Neat room although its not sound proof, but cleanliness could be better. Good food while view item need to be revised, well its commonly happen even in 5*. Recomended for business stay.

The staff is excelent nice guy ferry kenly.Akbar have excort me too the airport. Restaurant is top.room are nice.every thing here in fave hotel are super.i like all the guys here.

This is my hotel of choice in Banjarbaru. I stayed 4 times so far. The price you pay is for budget hotelbut way better than any budget hotel. Don’t forget to add the breakfast buffet, they excellent choices of food.

Favehotel is my to go hotel in Banjarbaru. This is my 4th time staying in this hotel and it never disappoints.

A short stay from me actually, the room is compact and well maintained. The service meet my standard, the food is up to my taste. I think i made the right choice to stay here even only for 1 night. Cheers

The room is big enough and clean, staff are friendly and helpful, not much variation of food in the restaurant but the taste is good.
Overall its a good hotel with fair price and also not too far from the airport.

I stayed for 6 nights at the hotel for business purposes. The staffs was very friendly, and helpful when i checked in. The room was very clean, neat and tidy. The breakfast variant is good. And the dinner not so available at my first night but after that all food are available. There is live music as well at night. The facilities such as free wifi is available, spa and leisure as well. I recommended to you stay here when you visit Banjar Baru.

Located between the city center and the airport.

The interior, feels young and fresh, the corridor is modern with bright colored wallpapers.

Spacious standard room, bathroom wall side made of glass.

The bed is comfortable, I can sleep very well.

They have room service with good menus and affordable prices.

 

Fantastic place to stay, loved the beds, loved the pool, loved the staff, it had everything we needed, so closed to Airport and Mall At banjarbaru, All concept was modern, clean and meet all my expectations.

This hotel is in between airport and town, less than 30 minutes driving from airport. There's swimming pool, but it's too small. Parking lot, unfortunately at that moment was under renovation so some time it's quite difficult to get space. Room is not so big, but it's clean. Breakfast is acceptable, normally they serve traditional foods looks like soto banjar , bubur ayam and also nasi goreng/fried noodle

The location of the hotel is close to Giant supermarket, airport (about 10 minutes driving), restaurants, outlets, the staffs are friendly, the bedroom was clean but only the bed cover smelt very stinky. We asked the housekeeper to change it on the following day and they did it well.

I got trouble when I made the reservation by phone. They asked me my number to send us the detail of booking deposit, but they didn't send it till the day we arrived at the hotel. We kept asking, but they sent nothing. Apparently, the sent to wrong number, and we only got 3 rooms (we need 4 actually).
Well, the breakfast was so-so.. I just had potato and omelet. The next day I didn't get the omelet I ordered.
The rooms quite big and clean. I can sleep well there. No mosquitos except in the lobby. It's weird.. I hope they do something about it..

This hotel is amazing from the entrance to the lobby and the rooms. In fact, I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. They have delicious buffet breakfast with a variety of choices including freshly made pancake and a ton of Indonesian food. They have life music on some nights in the cafe. The staff which is one of my important things about hotels were very friendly and go above and beyond to meet your needs. I should also mention some staff speak English
