Family Country Hotel and Convention Centre

Property refused to refund what I paid for. My family went and found out that theres no electricity. Why posting room available and the service is not available to offer? Why refusing to refund ? Im very disappointed!

Employees were kind, friendly and professional.

Joann, the woman at the front desk, was outstanding. She was very professional and made the check-in super quick and easy. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly. The security guards, housekeeping, and the restaurant employees provided for a great experience. The hotel is within walking distance to the mall with many places to eat and shop. The room was really clean and comfortable.

The front desk and restaurant staff were amazing. It is really nice to go to breakfast in the morning and be greeted with such a welcomeness. The property is duper quiet and safe, the pool is really big and clean, and you can walk to the mall. I truly enjoyed staying here and will make this property my choice when returning to Gensan.

This old hotel is in a very run down condition. Our shower, telephone and toilet did not operate at different times during our one night stay. Its age means it is high maintenance but staff are few. I have a feeling that Covid-19 was the nail in the coffin. We found a dead squashed cockroach in one of the blankets and the pond area, where you could chose a fish to be cooked in the restaurant was polluted and fishless. I feel sorry for the staff having to constantly field people's complaints. Unless the management get a grip and inject serious money into the establishment, I doubt whether this once fine hotel will still be open this time next year - very sad.

Very friendly staff, convenient location, very helpful with airport pick up and drop off, very clean, breakfast was great, and the price was just right. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

The service of the staff is excellent. If you could just like renovate the place it will be very nice and more comfortable.

Hotel has fotos locación and swiiming pool. Room was old, no windows bathroom Made noice al night, and restaurant was EXASPERATINGLY SLOW. Lobby staff AND shuutle drivers we're really nice. I hope they can Fox their touristic lack of knoledge.

Generally, I like the place. The accommodation was affordable, quiet with free wifi provided and walking distance from shopping centers (esp the mall). The staff were friendly and helpful. Just one slight shortfall; I was a bit scared of the mosquitoes in the room, a good number of them. I suggest schedule should be made for hotel staff to have the rooms sprayed with anti-mosquito chemicals once a week.However, in general, the place is decent and I would not hesitate to book this hotel the next time I come to Gensan.

Budget wise, suitable for group or family.

its close to the malls.the water in the bathrooms needs fixing, it only drips out, do the cleaners ever check these things?

Don’t expect too much , the place is just like a hotel out from the city. Aircon too noisy, you need earplugs. You get your money’s worth . I didn’t even bother to check what they have for breakfast . I have my breakfast out from the hotel and check out early. Over all the hotel is what you paid for. , don’t expect too much.

The air-condition is good but the room itself is dirty. There is a lot of dust esp the cabinets, not worth it for the price we made.

They offer shuttle service for free going back to the airport.

The staff was great...the cafe food was good..the lobby is beautiful...now for the other parts, the room was very run down..bathroom is very poor condition....the toilet had no seat and there were worms in the toilet..you flush them and overnight they were back...also no hot water and no shaving mirror. I was there 2 nights and only got 1 towel..

I can only say the staff was nice. The bed slides all over the floor, the pillows are not comfortable. It sounds like a construction site during the day so impossible to sleep and the internet was horrible and didn't work a lot of the time. Also the TV was very small and old and the breakfast is only free if you get a breakfast that is 150 pesos or less. You will pay the difference for anything else. Also was only one in restaurant for breakfast and it took them 30 minutes to make some eggs. I would never go back to this place.

Family country resort upon arrival waited 30 mins at reception then told my room was not available so they would upgrade to a deluxe room but all I wanted was a room with a big bed but had two small beds not happy but fair enough I think. No as the room they upgraded me to was outside where they announce to the staff it's breakfast and break time at 6am 7am and 8am by banging a very large empty oxygen cylinder so was Not happy as they must have known this before putting me there. I complained after breakfast and they refused to move me so I went out to the oxygen bottle making a video of the noise and then explained that as they refused to move me and I would be woken again the next morning I informed them at midnight I would ring the bell. Guess what they found a new room with a big bed lol location is excellent and staff were fine after the move

pls issue an OR. Coordinate with the hotel, the room i have with you wasn't the one I was given.
