Hotel Santuario Pompei

We were a family of five staying in two rooms, and we really enjoyed our time here. The location is excellent – right next to the cathedral and just a short walk to the entrance of the Pompeii archaeological park.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and everything was clean, both in the rooms and the bathrooms. The small balcony overlooking the square and the cathedral was a lovely spot to sit and take in the view.

The rooms are simple and comfortable. They could easily be made a bit cozier with some color or artwork on the walls – just a small suggestion, not a complaint. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Pompeii.

Posizione perfetta. Le camere sono spaziose e luminose. Letti comodi e pulizia top. La mia stanza affacciava direttamente sul Santuario ed è stupendo svegliarsi con il suono delle campane. Staff molto amichevole e pronto a soddisfare eventuali esigenze. Colazione varia con prodotti di qualità

The location is the best in town thats why i stayed here . There was never any hot water only one day imagine warm showers that was bad. Hard beds hard pillows . Breakfast very minimal . Only good for maybe 1 or 2 nights. It was just ok

Il personale, un sigmore e una signora, sono stati molto gentili e disponibili e solo per tale motivo lo consiglierei . Tuttavia, è vero cbe ho pagato pochissimo , ma la pulizia del bagno era carente, le pareti del bagno erano sporche così come il wc. .Anche nella stanza i muri erano sporchi e scrostati e in generale era parecchio mal messa. Il posto in cui è ubicato l'albergo è perfetto , ben collegato e Pompei è una bella cittadina.

Het hotel, netheid, ontbijt is niet héél slecht, maar ook niet geweldig. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is heerlijk om het hotel uit te lopen en op het plein te zitten, het is heel fijn om lopend naar de opgravingen te gaan. Parkeren is een nachtmerrie! Onduidelijke machines en duur.

The hotel is located in the center of Pompéi, it’s great to visit the city. The staff is wonderful and really takes care of you. A big thanks to Lucia 😌

We booked this last minute after worrying about not getting back to Sorrento following a concert attending at the amphitheatre, which was just a short walk away — a big plus in the heat. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be given an upgrade, and the manager also offered complimentary breakfasts for both of us, which was a thoughtful touch.

The room was comfortable and overlooked the main square in front of the cathedral, giving us a real sense of place. The air conditioning was very welcome, especially with temperatures hitting the 30s, and we managed a decent night’s sleep.

The location is excellent — close to restaurants, bars, and, of course, the Pompeii Ruins. Breakfast was ok, although a toastie grill might help speed things up a bit in the morning rush. The staff were friendly and the coffee hit the spot.

For the price we paid, in the location this was, and for the convenience, this was good value 😊

Staff was super nice and tried to be helpful but our room was small, floor was dirty, beds squeaky and there was no cold water. We couldn’t shower because the water was scalding. I finally washed my hair in the tiny sink. The outlet in the bathroom was sticking out of the wall and the cover for plumbing was off as well so they must have known there was a plumbing issue

Posizione invidiabile, di fronte al Santuario della Beata Vergine. Personale cordiale e preparato. Stanze spaziose e luminose. Ottima la pulizia.

Le bon point pour cette hôtel est sa situation et son personnel.
Bâtiment pas entretenu, des trous dans les portes cachés avec des autocollants, un plafond dans la cage d'escalier qui s'effondre, fiantes sur le petit balcon......

Is a beautiful place, antique, comfortable, and the people who’s working there are very professional. I recommend this hotel.

Very old structure in every meaning, we were there during November and We had many mosquitos in the room, we couldn’t sleep at all.

Property was infested with mosquitoes. There were over 20 in the room. Woke up with multiple bug bites and staff showed no consideration. When we informed the staff, they were fully aware of a bug problem but stated they cannot do anything. There was no soap in the washrooms and no WIFI as respresented. In response we were moved to a different room that had dangerous electrical circuitry. When I plugged in the phone the cable sparked and I felt seriously endangered. All lights went out. Staff had complete disregard or care for the serious safety issue. Owner denied any issues. Avoid staying here at all costs.

Great option to stay in Pompei. The hotel is clean, in a centre of Pompeii, the ruins, the train station and the Santuario are walkable. The breakfast is good. The front desk personnel are very kindly, they always helped us with any requirement. The only bad thing is that there is not WiFi in the rooms, just in the lobby.

Hotel Santuario Pompei was wonderful. Centrally located, and very charming. The staff and reception were incredible and deeply hospitable, it almost felt like I was in a family home. I would recommend staying here!

I had a great stay at Hotel Santuario. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, as well as knowledgable about great places to go in Pompei and Napoli. The location was perfect, right in the center of Pompei within walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay here again!
