Clean, spacious room in a prime location.
Pros:

Excellent location right in the promenade .
Very clean. In a historic building (a heritage site ) so there was no elevator.

Cons:

There was no communication from the property that there was a shuttle service for your luggage. Because this hotel is in a pedestrian only zone, that should have been clearly communicated. We had to walk with our luggage over the cobblestones, which was short but quite difficult and hard on our luggage wheels.
Also, I did not see anything at booking that breakfast could have been included. So ours was not. Better communication definitely needed

Pros:

Room was great but the climb up the stairs was hard for us . The staff transported one of us and our luggage to the bus station for our departure which was so very much appreciated.

Pros:

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Cons:

The restaurant waiter was not attentive, spent most of our meal at another table talking. When we told him we were guests of the hotel he was very short tempered and said we needed to tell him at the beginning and now it was too late so we did not receive the hotel discount. You may want to let guests know that they need to advise at the start of the meal if they are hotel guests in order to have the discount applied. The waiter could have nicely explained this to be the case rather rather than getting annoyed and being rude, especially after he was so inattentive!

Pros:

Location was wonderful

Cons:

No lift and 5 flights of stairs up. No one around to help. An elderly person would not be able to do it. There is no entrance near a road. U had to drag ur bags a long way over cobblestones.

In the morning we could hear the room next to us being cleaned fairly early in the morning- talking, glasses clinking etc. but otherwise a fantastic stay.

It’s a perfect slice of history in Trogir
Pros:

Can’t beat the location, it’s right on the Riva and close to the footbridge which takes you to neighbouring Čiovo island. And you get to stay in a building that originated in the twelfth century! ALL the staff were so friendly and kind. It was a big treat to have access to a bathtub at the tail end of a four week trip.

Cons:

The carpets were a bit dirty but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
