Pros:

Emplacement très pratique, super acceuil, pzrsonnels très gentil, hotel très propre et bien entretenu.bref on recommandes pour les budgets serré a Londres!

Cons:

L'oreiller trop épais et dure ,la température un peu fraîche dans la chambre, le parquet qui grince mais ca fait partie du charme..
Par contre si vous avez une personne avec des difficultés de mobilité évitez le 3ème étage!

Pros:

Très bon accueil du personnel. Très bien situé. Quartier calme. Par rapport aux prix de Londres qui sont très élevés, c’est un très bon rapport qualité prix. Les chambres sont propres, les sanitaires/douches aussi.

Cons:

Le seul et unique point négatif de l’établissement c’est qu’il n’y a vraiment pas de pression dans les douches.

Incredible place for a solo traveler
Pros:

I honestly don’t understand the low rating this hotel gets. People complain about the narrow stairs and lack of a lift as if they’re climbing Everest. You spend around 20 seconds on the stairs - it’s really not a problem unless someone physically cannot walk. For me, the building actually felt atmospheric and full of old London charm.

The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. I expected a cheap budget place in central London, but from the first minutes I realised it was much better than that. For a budget hotel, this place is genuinely excellent.

The reception staff were fantastic - available 24/7, always smiling, friendly, and ready to help. They also offer free luggage storage after check-out, which was very convenient.

The location is brilliant.

Another thing I liked was the amount of bathrooms and toilets. There are multiple on every floor, so even though they’re shared, it was never really an issue. If one is occupied, you just use another one nearby.

The room itself was clean, cosy, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, there was a sink in the room, and everything felt cared for rather than old or neglected. Sound isolation was decent too.

Overall, for the price and location, this hotel is an easy 10/10 for me.

Cons:

The street directly around the hotel was a bit dirty compared to nearby streets. It wasn’t terrible or unsafe, just slightly messy with some rubbish around. Interestingly, once you walk around the corner, the area immediately looks cleaner, so I’m not sure why this particular spot was like that.

Also, as someone who is 190 cm tall, I found the bed and especially the duvet a bit too short. Not a huge issue, but taller people might notice it.
