Holiday Inn Resort Mesquite by IHG

Hotel was under construction, some of the rooms were a little warm and the air conditioning unit was extremely loud when the fan kicked on, especially at night.

Could hear hallway conversations, etc.

Nicely update recently. Very quiet. Great workout room and pool.

I booked 6 people room and it was very congested, with very less light.

The place was great. Very clean and looking new. The pool and spa are heated so that was nice

It's so close to see a concert as well.

Stayed for one night on a stop over trip. Knocked off one star as the rooms were noisy both via the air con unit in the room and surrounding guests….the kids on the floor above thundered into your room!! Tip : ask for a top floor room to try and minimise the risk of noise from other guests

Being a conference center, I thought this would be a nice place however it felt very shady. The room we were assigned to had a come back later sign on the door however, the key did work. The room was dirty and was being used. The front desk said they didn’t know how that had happened. The whole situation just seemed shady. We were given another room however that room had dirty floors that had not been vacuumed in what looked like quite a while sometime during the night we could hear loud talking from the hallway or the adjoining room I understand there was construction going on at the hotel but overall it just did not seem safe. I would not stay at this location again while the front staff seemed to be helpful and accommodating. I still feel that the whole situation was shady and left feeling uncomfortable about our stay at this location. There were other people or guests there letting people walk in through one of the side doors. I don’t know if that was an accessible door for guests, but the look on their faces seemed like they were doing something that shouldn’t have been doing the carpeting in the hallways leading to the guest rooms Was old and dirty as well again I know it was under construction, but this facility overall did not leave a positive impression on me. One other point is that if the key to the first room allowed us to go in even though it was being used, whether by guests or staff, it left an uncomfortable feeling on whether someone would walk into our room.

This place had a great welcome when we came in. The rooms were clean and nice. The shower was nice and the towels were good too. We just came from a different hotel chain in AZ and I was disappointed there. This Holiday Inn will get my business again. I recommend it.
