Pros:

Very close to the Australian ballet School where my son is studying. Lovely room, friendly staff. Would have preferred twin beds to a double but otherwise can’t fault it and highly recommend!

Ticked all the basic boxes but overall cleanliness needs improvement
Pros:

Great location central to southbank promenade. Great staff which were always helpful and accomodating. Executive room size was good

Cons:

Cleanliness of room could have been improved. Issues - carpets, sofa and seating chairs needed to be steam cleaned. Housekeeping needs to do more floor cleaning in rooms. Housekeeping had missed a few days in scheduling especially when you pay for the cleaning service. Bin chute was not working at the time.

It is nice and spacious given the location and top floor was exceptional views!

Cons:

I had issues with my flights (not Oaks fault obviously) however I had other guests arriving before me, I wasn’t allowed to pay by phone with a card. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress as I was the one who had to pay for our group and was willing but couldn’t get there as planned because of multiple flight cancellations. You can pay for the room as soon as you book (we opted to pay at the venue as I didn’t know all my flights would be cancelled) so what is the difference of paying by card over the phone?

Pros:

Location was exceptional and nearby grocery outlets

Cons:

Air conditioning in room didn't work. Extremely noise traffic when open the window for air. Very stuffy in the bedroom, would benefit from a fan
