I didn't realize this was an off-season ski resort when I booked a place near Mt. Rainier. It was fine. Anyone wanting easy access to the Sunrise area of the National Park would do well to stay here.
We stayed for 3 nights as we were visiting Rainier national park and it was very convenient for that.
We had a very friendly and helpful welcome and generally the team members we spoke to during our stay were super helpful.
The room had a nicely updated bathroom, but was otherwise a bit tired. Housekeeping had done a wonderful job making sure it was as clean as it could be, although long term stains in the carpet suggest it should have already been replaced. Bed was comfortable and we didn't have any problems with noise, but there weren't that many people staying.
The breakfast offered was basic, but there was plenty. The team member on the first day was super organised and nothing ran out before it was replaced. Disappointing with someone else the following two days when we, and others, had to keep going to find them and ask for different things as they hadn't been put out, that individual definitely gave the impression they didn't care.
Excellent customer service. The rooms were really clean and cute. Sheets smelled wonderful. They were very accommodating. We only had the chance to sleep a few hours there but will definitely come back to experience everything they had to offer.
J.D. very friendly! Our room however is very small and only one restaurant open.Nachos fair, mainly chips.
Awful experience. Day 1 power was off in the building they found us a temporary room for the night, day 2, back to the original room, other travelers decided to party very loudly until 4.30am in the morning. customers services is not always responsive on the phone so if you need something you need to walk or drive to the reception which is not in the same building.
Rooms are outdated and expensive for what you get.
Not a good place for anyone with walking difficulty. Room was very small, no table, no soundproofing. Food was excellent, everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Lots of natural beauty!
Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was accommodating with good food. Rooms were clean and the patio was lovely in the evenings and mornings. During a heat wave they felt hot and stuffy-bring a fan. A bit pricey for what you get, but the convenience makes it a solid choice.
It is so very old. Noise issues off the chart as our room near common area and walls do not stop sound. Only soda machines available in building and those were empty.
Cute place. Dated but clean.
Our room was very outdated and the furniture was very old and worn out. The carpet was very very dirty, really awful. I think they put us in an overflow location.
Great location to Rainier.
No power and no refund despite a phone call, text, and email.
Staff was amazing, such a cute property with everything you need on site at the resort. Gorgeous views, would recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area!
Location was great! Very clean, updated and well-stocked.
The location is excellent--just a few minutes from the park. The food was good. But the place itself felt like a motel 6 for poor students skiing. The staff was great but didn't have a lot to work with.
Has restraunts on the property which is nice, great staff, good location to the park
We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect for our trip to Mr Rainier!
Great skii resort.
Well maintained older hotel.
Its a very very old hotel, the room smelled like mold, and very musty. There were multiple black spots on the sheets. Would recommend to stay somewhere else.
