Not worth the value
Cons:

No kettle or tea making facilities in the room if they were in there they were so well hidden they couldn’t be found and someone trying to get into the room to clean it 45 minutes before checkout even though we hadn’t checked out

Pros:

Both the dinner and Breakfast were excellent, we had the dinner in Cafe Cru and the breakfast in the Terrace with the brilliant sunshine, amazing!!

Great Hotel
Pros:

Lovely Victorian type seaside hotel with many original features yet tastefully refurbished in a modern style. Lovely room, air-conditioned, huge bed, great breakfast, large car park.

Cons:

Had to lower the score because whilst the room had a lovely new shower, the water was cool to luke warm. Not warm enough for a shower. Very disappointing.

Very good facilities, food, drink and rooms. Great staff and a good location.

Cons:

The £5 levy to the bill for the use of a function room for our party. Surely the money the guests had spent on meal, drinks and overnight stay was sufficient profit?

Great staff, tasty breakfast, superb location.
Pros:

Lovely seafront hotel with great views and independent charm however it's the staff who elevate the rating. The breakfast was superb too.

An enjoyable stay in a great and convenient location.
Pros:

Good room size and comfortable bed. Breakfast in the Terrace room was excellent.

Cons:

A couple of small points. The bath / shower was a bit cramped. Also, the drainer on the bathroom sink didn't appear to work.
