Wittmore Hotel GL- Adults Only, Small Luxury Hotels

The location was wonderful and enabled us to walk mostly everywhere. The accommodations were spectacular and showed a real attention to detail. The staff was attentive and friendly. And the food was well done with good variety. This boutique hotel exceeded all our expectations and I would highly recommend.

The hotel is wonderful, a great location for everything. Bars, beaches and loads of public transport, all close at hand.

Really enjoyed our stay at Wittmore. Stayed for 4 days in August with our adult children. The hotel is meticulously maintained and the staff is welcoming and attentive to your every wish. The breakfast is truly amazing and we also enjoyed a dinner in their Michelin star restaurant one of the nights. This is the hotel for you if you want peace and quiet in the middle of booming city and want to be pampered.

Loved this hotel. The staff is terrific. They went out of their way to be helpful. They even gave us a nice going-away gift. The location in the middle of the Barcelona Gothic Quarter made it easy to walk to good restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. We had dinner twice in their restaurant because the food was so good. This may have been the best hotel we ever stayed at (and we travel a lot).

This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming and ready to assist you with your needs during your stay. Daniella at the front desk was amazing! Most of the staff speak English, but it is always a kind gesture to speak to them in Spanish if you speak the language. We had only one meal (brunch) in the restaurant, and the food was very well prepared. The dining rooms and bar area are absolutely lovely, and the entire hotel is very on "Gothic" theme. We would have given it 5 stars, but...the rooms are SO incredibly dark. They are beautifully appointed as we noted, but if you don't keep a light on somewhere in the hallway, you are almost in pitch darkness. Also, the hotel is located down a dead-end side street. Most taxi/uber drivers had no clue where it was or where to drop us off when they did eventually find it. Be reminded that you are in the Gothic Quarter, which is not the safest area in Barcelona. We noted several "suspect" individuals as we were coming and going.

What a beautiful experience we had at the Wittmore! The hotel is charming and well run with kind staff who are helpful and knowledgeable about the area! There was so much attention to detail through our stay. Breakfast in the courtyard was a true delight. They made sure we always had ice, fresh water and beverages in our room. The nightly chocolates are so yummy! I would return to Barcelona just to stay here again!

The Wittmore Hotel is amazing! The staff are friendly and know who you are and your drink order within a day. The rooms were comfortable, clean and luxurious. The restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast. My favorite thing about this hotel was the rooftop pool. It was the perfect place to relax in the late afternoon after a day of exploring Barcelona! I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay again!

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every member of the friendly, helpful staff made the stay feel effortless, creating a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel.

Our room was well appointed, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with retro touches that gave it real character. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, the perfect start to each day.

Great location within the pedestrian zone. Rooftop area offered a nice place to chill and take in the views. Drinks could be ordered up or else you can take your own up from your rooms mini bar which was included in price. The fridge has 2 beers plus 2 gin and tonics and were replenished daily. They even provide a jar of olives, sweets, nuts and a fresh lemon and lime to make a drink. The fridge also had ice for our drinks. The coffee machine ground its own beans. Not amazing coffee, but nice not having pods for a change. Breakfast was nicely served to order. Not amazing, but still very good and with decent coffee. But for best coffee go around the corner to Coto! Overall, very happy with our stay. Staff were great too.
