Everything was great
The accommodations for this hotel is fine and we enjoyed our stay.
The issue was with the hotel is lack of communication. mistakenly put the wrong date for check in and it was a non refundable booking. called Expedia and they tried to contact hotel with no luck. Tried 10 plus times either via email, calling, or messages on Expedia. Finally was able to talk to employee and she said she would change the date on Expedia booking and no problem. At check in confirmed this was done and they said yes. It wasn’t until left the hotel and a few days later saw was charged on credit card for the hotel night so paid twice. Once again I tried via email, phones and FINALLY got through to a staff member who ensured me that management would call me to discuss the issue. Never received a phone call.
VERY disappointed with the lack of communication with this hotel even Expedia staff were surprised by the lack of response.

Excellent
Very comfortable modern hotel with small lake. Room was well laid out with a view of the pool and the lake. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent although the service was little slow. The hotel is just outside the city so quite peaceful. Overall nice place to stay.
I appreciate that they accept dogs but you cannot use the restaurants or access the beach with your dog so what’s the point? We had to order in from a restaurant in town in order to eat.

The view
Bel endroit, bien situé, très agréable en général. Par contre pas de service à la chambre (serviettes, ect...) malgré que nous avons déposé la carte à l'extérieur de la chambre demandant d'avoir des serviettes propres. Le lit pas fait et à l'arrivée une odeur d'égout. La plage pose également problème, il faut regarder nos pieds car beaucoup d'excrément même si les animaux ne sont pas permis sur la plage.

It‘s a great experience. However it did take us to run back and forth many times to inquire questions or services from the reception desk. The phone in the room never worked. Other than that it was an amazing place to get relaxed for families.
