A great weekend, close to great eating places and accommodation was excellent.
Pros:

Location was great, room was great and very clean. Staff were excellent and very friendly

Where were the staff?
Pros:

The apartment was well set out, comfortable and clean.

Cons:

Reception only open 9-4pm on weekends which meant we never saw a person. Might as well have been a high rise airbnb which would have been cheaper. check in process clumsy as a result and standing outside in cold giving personal information

Good stay, central location, worth paying extra for carpark as parking street parking limited
Pros:

Great location, facilities were clean and had everything we needed, 500m from the esplanade, cafes, bars and restaurants all within a short walk, and easy to get to. The parking was awesome, had to pay $15 p/n but it was worth it as there wasn't much available on the street.

Cons:

The people in the room next to us were partying and it was quite loud which wasn't great, lots of noises from upstairs and around us. Bit of wear and tear in the rooms that didn't show in pictures - all pictures of rooms had balconies so we assumed we would have one but we didn't so would have paid to double check that also.

Pros:

Location ok. Didn’t charge for rollaway bed.

Cons:

In experienced reception staff. Rooms run down, dirty couches, dirty overall feel of room. Party’s happening in other rooms. Not a four star hotel more like a 2 star.

Pros:

Clean, comfortable, good location and friendly, very helpful staff. Nice view over Petone towards the beach. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Cons:

Arriving through heavy traffic on the foreshore. No where to park to check in.
