This place was such an amazing surprise! We booked this last minute and not on our planned travel path. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The staff was fabulous and helpful. The food was delicious, we loved both meals. The facilities with the pool and spa sealed the deal! We love this place and will be back with friends!
Amazing place. Family friendly, clean and beautiful place. Restaurant is nice too.
We loved this property!! The staff was awesome and the facility was beautiful.
I wish we booked this stay longer it was amazing. The breakfast was like none other for complimentary food! Our room was great and the beds were comfy. It’s a tad older building, but still amazing. The dinner was also great and the seafood chowder was to die for. The spa was luxurious and the pool is huge. There is so much to do just at the location alone. Outside is also beautiful and you can just take a nice leisurely stroll by the water. Nestled back on its own drive this lace was very secluded and had lots of parking.
Wonderful property, close to town and staff was amazing.
Charming, old-fashioned hotel, besides a scenic river with walking trails
The Falls hotel is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the vibrant town of Ennistymon . The hotel feels regal perched on top of a hill overlooking the falls and alongside a wonderful woodland trail . Out front live a herd of friendly donkeys , there to welcome you to the countryside.
The hotel entrance has a beautiful chandelier an introduction to what lays before you. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathrooms open and airy. A huge bonus was the pool and the hot tub a lovely way to start or end your day.
On the note of starting your day, breakfast was fabulous & catered for those with dietary restrictions ( gluten free) the staff were friendly and helpful. It was my pleasure to have stayed in the falls hotel.
Fabulous!!!
Very nice for the cost.
It's an old fashioned hotel. If you feel physically limited be sure to tell them in advance; my room required stairs as the lift did not reach that level. The bathroom was fully modern. The breakfast was excellent, with kitchen orders as well as buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bar has live entertainment. The ground are spectacular, with a view of the river and falls.
Beautiful location and hotel. Friendly staff and the restaurant was amazing. However the pillows on the bed were flat and hard and made for by far the worst night sleep in Ireland.
The views are amazing and the amenities are great. Wonderful pool, spa and gym.
Great old world ambiance. Food menu and food generally needs looking at. Nice, tasty but relatively basic.
Great experience
Lack of signage to beeakfast retaurant, whi h is a tually one floor below reception, long flight of stairs awkward for my wife, lift is also along walk.
View of building site from room, above the river sedn through trees, felt the new large building will spoil the view.
All staff helpful, kind and deserve praise.
The hotel is not likely in the photo we see on the website. The rooms are very outdated, they are doing some renovation and they should put us in the another parte of the hotel.
It was my 50th birthday and im very disappointed.
Food was awful.
I was sick all night.
I got roast beef and it was dry and hard.
This hotel was not a four-star hotel, as advertised. The difficulties we encountered may be because the hotel is under renovation, but this is our experience with the "family room" that we booked.
Pros:
The bathroom had recently been renovated and had a new bathtub, sink, toilet, and tile.
The view of the waterfall from the front steps is beautiful
The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from The Cliffs of Moher
The hotel is within walking distance of the small village with shops and pubs
Cons:
The new acrylic tub already had black stains
The light fixtures in the bedroom hang too low; my husband hit his head on one when we walked in
The beds need to be replaced. The larger bed had a visible hollow in the middle. The two smaller beds were also uncomfortable
The bedspreads are vintage 1980s or earlier
The room was on the bottom floor down a narrow hallway next to the pool. It smelled of wet feet.
The lobby in our area of the building is under renovation. No workers were in sight, but paint cans and construction debris littered the area
The door to our hallway was covered with dirt and fingerprints
The view was of the parking lot
The inside of the bedroom door had no doorknob; it had to be opened by the lock
There was no hair dryer, hangers, or safe.
When we saw the swaybacked bed, we did not even unpack our bags. Instead, we booked a reservation at a different hotel. We lost $173 that we had prepaid for that room, but we slept much better an hour away in Limerick.
“I really enjoyed stay! The pool and spa were excellent, and the walking trails nearby made the experience even better. Highly recommend!”
I found the front office and bar staff unfriendly. Smiling, saying please and thank you seemed too much of an effort for them. They looked like they hated their hobs.
The restaurant staff were much better.
The shower was only lukewarm.
Location was great. Spectacular view from the restaurant. Food tasty. Lovely walk by the falls.
