Ticked all the boxes. Would recommend.
Pros:

Conveniently located and lovely food, good value for money. Staff were very welcoming. The radio in the room was a nice touch.

Cons:

Would have preferred a kettle rather than a coffee machine. The wardrobe in our room 5 was extremely difficult to open, it looked new and probably hadn’t been used much.

We would definitely stay here again
Pros:

Friendly staff, big room, comfortable bed, good food and drinks

Cons:

Unfortunately I had to clean the toilet before I could use it and the bathroom window needs a blind.

Family Friendly accommodation
Pros:

The property was in a convenient location, the rooms were clean and well-designed for families with children, and the breakfast facilities were satisfactory.

Cons:

Nothing specific, but consider changing the stair carpeting to improve accessibility and make the floor layout easier to understand.

Very enjoyable and good value.
Pros:

The coffee machine in the room was brilliant. As a coffee lover, I was in heaven!

Cons:

The plumbing was idiosyncratic but we learned a lot about air locks!

Pleasant two nights away in a lovely location!
Pros:

Breakfast was fine and we had a nice evening meal one of the nights! We like Lynton and the area as we have been several times over the years

Cons:

It was a bit tricky to par the car initially, but we parked around the front in the end! The only criticism was that we could smell the extractor fan from our bedroom as we were at the back of the hotel!

Great guest house in perfect location.
Pros:

Great location & friendly staff. Nice cosy atmosphere in the public bar which also had a log burne &r with a mix of locals & visitors.
Friendly & accommodating staff & a good selection of real ales.
The room we had was lovely & an extra heater was supplied because it was very chilly. The bedding was very good quality & ample tea & coffee facilities.
The breakfasts were fantastic! A good selection of locally sourced ingredients & great fresh coffee.
We had a ovely stay in a quiet village on the coast of stunning Exmoor.

Cons:

The shower room was cold due to no heat source or heated towel rail & also no vent to dissipate steam as the windows were sealed.

Amazing
Pros:

The night we arrived the boiler was broken and there was no heating as the boiler was broken. The manager Georgie was incredibly kind and made sure everyone was well taken care of. We were given blankets and a heater right away. The water was supposed to be fixed the next morning but it took longer than expected so she kindly offered us the following night for free. She was very caring and constantly checked in to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome. I can’t praise her enough this woman truly deserves a raise.
