Great location to visit Lynton and Lynmouth
Pros:

The property was in an excellent location to visit the town. My room had been newly renovated. The breakfast was good.

Cons:

I was lucky to get the last car park as there are only 4 or 5 spaces

Wonderful staff, great location and lovely stay
Pros:

The staff were fantastic, very personable and attentive.

Would recommend staying at the Crown overall.
Pros:

Location was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast choice was excellent. Coffee maker in room was a bonus. The shower gels were good quality.

Cons:

Evening meals were expensive and portions on small side. No hairdryer in room and room overall (room 7) was very small for couples- no shelves or hooks and only one bedside table.

Pros:

The hotel has been recently renovated and is very comfortable. The bedding is excellent, and the room decoration is beautiful. A lovely experience in a traditional English inn.

Cons:

On the downside, we felt quite rushed to come down for dinner as soon as we arrived at the hotel and place our order due to a shortage of staff. The waitress asked us several times within less than 10 minutes if we were ready to order despite not all of our party being at the table yet. Once we did, we then had to wait a very long time to be served. We fully understand the staffing constraints, but it might have been nicer to take our order first and then allow us to go to our rooms to relax for 10–15 minutes, especially given how long the wait for the food was. The staff were kind, but we just felt a bit rushed.

Sehr schönes renoviertes Hotel
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die Zimmer neu gestaltet, sauber und gemütlich. Das Hotel liegt nahe der Altstadt von Lynton und auch der Bahnstation zum Meer runter. Die Mitarbeiter waren jederzeit freundlich.

Cons:

Wir waren im 2. Obergeschoss und der Wasserdruck war gering, so dass ein Duschen in der tollen Dusche nicht wirklich gut geklappt hat

Cozy super Cottage als guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Cotswolds zu besuchen.
Pros:

Das Cottage war super eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Die schiefen Böden und die unterschiedlichen Durchgangshöhen der Türen waren passend für ein solch altes und dennoch modernes Cottage. Unschlagbar war für uns der Kamin, den wir jeden Abend genossen haben. Feuerholz gab es gratis vom Vermieter dazu. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war top und super einfach und schnell. Wenn wir wieder in UK sind, kommen wir sicher wieder hier her. Toller Ausgangspunkt für die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Cotswolds.

Cons:

Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld durch Booking.com und den. Vemittler (nicht die Vermieter selbst) war etwas nervig, da ich gefühlt von jedem 4 Mail und Nachrichten erhalten habe. Das war einfach zu viel :-). Dies schmälert aber in keinster Weise die tolle Unterkunft.

Ticked all the boxes. Would recommend.
Pros:

Conveniently located and lovely food, good value for money. Staff were very welcoming. The radio in the room was a nice touch.

Cons:

Would have preferred a kettle rather than a coffee machine. The wardrobe in our room 5 was extremely difficult to open, it looked new and probably hadn’t been used much.
