How bright and clean it was and the staff so friendly
Staff were amazing in all areas. Hotel was spotless. Breakfast was fabulous. Location was great. Car park was a real bonus. Definitely stay again.
Nothing at the hotel could have been improved but the noise of the seagulls meant you couldn’t sleep with the windows open for long.

Claremont Hotel is superbly placed in the heart of Polperro - with the added bonus of parking.
The breakfasts were always great, we tried several of the cooked options, full English, pancakes, eggs royale, smoked haddock with poached eggs and were very happy with whichever we had chosen.
The service provided by every member of the team that we met was excellent- friendly informative and always cheery.
Everything!!!!….central to Polperro, its own parking, the friendliness of the staff, the tasty breakfast…. nothing bad to say about our stay.

Property was immaculate and the staff especially Di couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was fab. The hotel was right in the middle of Polpero with parking available opposite. A real bonus given that Polpero has a non parking policy.
Outside area was lovely filled with plants but needs a little TLC. However highly recommended.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel in an amazing location with friendly staff. Super clean with everything you need. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh and lots of choice - we ate outside which was lovely. Hotel parking was a huge bonus.

We chose the Claremont because they offer free parking, a real bonus in Polperro. The breakfast menu was really good and the food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and helpful. They operate an honesty bar at very reasonable prices and there is a hot drinks machine in the bar area free for residents to use. There is a terrace with comfy tables and chairs, perfect to sit and people watch. Special mention to Diane who went out of her way to make our stay special.
The hotel is a former fisherman’s cottage. It has steps from the street to reception and very steep stairs to the rooms.
Just about every aspect was excellent. Good location, very friendly and attentive staff and excellent breakfast.
Wifi not working in our room. Access to upstairs rooms difficult with luggage up step and narrow staircase.
