Anniversary celebration
Pros:

This was my first time to Ottawa. What a beautiful city! We stayed at Andaz for our 35th anniversary. Location was perfect for visiting the sites and Byward Market. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in a room facing the Parliament buildings, great view but street noise was loud at night. Thank goodness hotel provided complimentary earplugs. Bed was very comfortable but pillows were a bit too soft and flat for my liking. Overall, I would return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

Sehr gutes Hotel, das ich empfehlen kann und jederzeit wieder buchen würde
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt.
Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig und alles sehr sauber.
Das Frühstück war hervorragend, man bestellt a la carte und bekommt alles frisch zubereitet.

THE place to stay in downtown Ottawa
Pros:

Unbeatable location half a block from Byward Market. Great decor and impeccable front desk service. Room vacuuming was just so-so when we moved in, but problems were swiftly addressed. Got free valet parking with AAA/CAA rate and well worth it given how crazy downtown is in August. Be aware you will need to notify front desk 30 minutes in advance to have your car brought up. But no problem if you plan ahead a bit. Go for a room on one of the higher floors if street noise bothers you (but probably only an issue in mid to late summer, I'd guess). If I go to Ottawa again here is the place I would stay.

Comfortable, clean, boutique feel
Pros:

Good location, really comfy bed, great bathroom including good rain shower and quality toiletries.
Small restaurant with limited menu but good quality food.
Roof top terrace with good bar and DJ.
It’s a busy and active locality especially at weekend evenings but window soundproofing was good. No disturbances experienced.

Cons:

No complaints
Gym felt a bit sad and unloved but the equipment worked

great location, nice room but too noisy ( not relaxing)

Cons:

there was very loud construction going on next door for my whole stay starting at 6:30 am. I was not warned of this. No apology or discount was offered. I would not have stayed here having known this. All the other hotels were booked up

Nice Room with a beautiful view.
Pros:

Very nice rooms. Clean and modern. Be careful with your reservations if you want the option to cancel. Reservation options are not very clear. However when I arrived the front desk upgraded me to a beautiful room with a view.

It started well but ended bad.
Pros:

The room was spacious. The bed was comfy. Nice workspace in the room. Complimentary coffee and water was a great touch.

Cons:

There was no hot water in the morning on Aug 21 at 6 am. I waited for 15 mins for the water to heat up but nothing happened. It was at max lukewarm. I also tried to call the front desk to ask for a late checkout but nobody answered the phone and I called twice. I tried calling housekeeping because I wanted cutlery but nobody answered the phone either. The stay started off well but ended on a bad note.
