Pros:

Did the job, comfortable and clean enough, provided what we needed.

Cons:

We paid for a king room with a view, knowing the hotel looks onto the chateau Laurier and city. We got a room at the back looking onto a building site with a crane right in front of the window.

Pros:

The building was clean, the elevators quick and secure. You needed a room key to use the elevators. The staff was efficient and kind. The shower was huge, and I liked that the toilet was separated (in a frosted glass closet), allowing you to use the toilet while someone was at the sink.

Cons:

We stayed on the 12th floor but could hear people outside like they were standing outside the window. Every night I was woken up by people or music outside. I think the hotel should invest in white noise machines for the rooms. Im not a light sleeper, so if you are, bring something to block the noise. Also, the area that the beds are in is quite small. Only one person can walk at a time. It's doable and would not be something that would keep me from renting a room, but just be aware.
