The Hosts Trent and Israel were extremely helpful in getting us acclimated to Costa Rica.
Pros:

The back yard gardens were lush and displayed a variety of colors and flowers.

Cons:

It was our first trip to costa rica so we weren’t aware of the out-of-the way location which turned out to be an advantage.

Pros:

Das Haus liegt idyllisch mit einem großen Garten und einem Pool. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und es gab ein leckeres Frühstück. Je nachdem was man in der Umgebung machen möchte, muss man ein paar Kilometer fahren. Wir kommen wieder.

Bien situé dans la région du lac Arenal.
Très belles chambres, bien décorées et spacieuses avec belles salles de bain privatives.
Accueil très chaleureux, personnel et propriétaire très sympathique.
Petit déjeuner délicieux et complet compris dans le tarif.

Cons:

Pour dire quelque chose : pas de restaurant sur place et obligation de prendre la voiture pour aller manger à Nuevo Arenal, la ville voisine.

Überraschend gute Erfahrung - wir empfehlen es gerne weiter!
Pros:

Aufgrund einer Doppelbuchung für ein anderes Zimmer bei Booking, haben wir abends noch kurzfristig das Agua Inn gebucht und wurden bei Ankunft sehr überrascht. Schon die Anfahrt, zwar etwas steil, aber absolut machbar, hat Lust auf mehr gemacht.

Das Agua Inn liegt in einer traumhaften Umgebung im Regenwald, wo auch noch ein rauschender Fluß vorbeiführt. Der Gastgeber hat nur Minuten vor unserer Ankunft von unserer Buchung erfahren, dennoch war alles perfekt vorbereitet.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war sehr sauber, gut gepflegt und nett eingerichtet. Im Preis enthalten ist ein Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Regenwald, wo Kolibris zur Zuckerwassertränke kommen und andere Vögel beobachtet werden können.

Für das Auto gibt es einen großen Parkplatz vor dem Gebäude.

Die Anlage ist wirklich schön und unsere spontane Ausweich-Buchung war ein echter Glücksfall.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig und die Bezahlung geht nur über Paypal.

Een prachtige tuin aan een rivier met een mooi zwembad.
Een fijn bed.
Heerlijke warme douche.
Heerlijk ontbijt.

Helaas hadden wij veel regen, het is dan ook natuurlijk ook niet voor niets zo prachtig groen.

We felt welcomed and safe for our 3 night stay.
Pros:

We arrived after dark and were welcomed by Israel with a smile and escorted to our rooms. Coffee and breakfast on the veranda was a great way to start our day. Trent and his staff were very helpful with travel tips and local area attractions.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like. This is a great central Lake Arenal location for travelers looking to wind it down. Not a location for travelers looking for the La Fortuna Zoo.
