A bucket-list type of experience.
Pros:

Everything! The facilities, the scenery, huge room, unbelievable views, magnificent staff. Can kit get better than this!

Cons:

My only complaint would be the spa. For a property of this standard (10/10), the spa would be a 7/10. Was kept waiting for 20 minutes (even though we made an appointment). The reception area was more like a doctors surgery- no ambience, no view- just sat staring at the reception desk. Massage was fine but not great. Given this property has views from everywhere, I thought this was a lost opportunity. Should have a place to wait and also relax in a peaceful area with a view.

An unmatched view over Ella
Pros:

The view is absolutely breathtaking. Our room was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. The pool and restaurant areas also have an exceptional view of Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock and down the valley. Breakfast and Lunch were absolutely delicious. We also did the sunrise hike of Little Adam’s Peak with Dewan and early morning yoga with Akhila which were both excellent. Staff were very helpful and attentive.

Pros:

One of the most amazing places we've ever stayed. The butler Pradeep was so amazing, making our stay extra special and enjoyable. The views from the pool (both at our suite and the main pool) were outstanding. Fantastic breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was high quality too.

5 star experience - I get the hype.
Pros:

Really incredible resort with the best views of this beautiful location. The food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do more for you, especially Indika and Chalani. We loved our stay here and would love to come back.

Cons:

Some small geckos in the room at night, but unavoidable for a hotel in the jungle. Didnt bother us but worth noting.

Overall top quality stay in Ella.
Pros:

The views were spectacular. Located across Little Adam's Peak, the hotel serves breath taking views for customers. The room was quite spacious with a well equipped toilet. The bed was so comfy and super big! You can admire the views from the toilet when showering! :)
Having a guided Little Adam's Peak tour was really nice. Highly suggested.
We also had our dinners in the restaurant, the food was delicious. Pricey but for this service quality I think it deserves it.

Cons:

There were no coffee machines in the rooms. For a top quality hotel like this, I think coffee machine is a must.
Also, in the breakfast buffet there could have been better bread and cheese options.

A paradise in the middle of a tea plantation
Pros:

The resort is located in the middle of a tea plantation. From the room and the balcony, you have an absolute stunning view on the mountains and the Little Adam Peak.
The massage is one of the best I have had. Extremely relaxing!
The breakfast was extraordinary. Perfect and friendly service.

Cons:

A little overpriced.
Acces for taxis and tuktuks is quite challenging.

Living in the jungle
Pros:

Absolutely amazing location and view from pretty much anywhere in the resort. Little Adam's peak in the walking distance, tea plantation on site, butler service, buggy commute, beautiful pool and rooms. Loved the infinity pool i our room and the area around it. You get options of traditional blessings and own-made tea on departure. Well within all main attractions of Ella and around like 9-arch bridge etc. Well worth the stay if you like nature and are willing to blend with it.

Cons:

The property is in the middle of the jungle and jungle comes to your room at night. You do have canopy above master bed so can potentially sleep peacefully, but the rest of the room feels like full of life - lizards, fireflies, bugs etc. They make noise and can move things. Bats bangs on the window and something substantial walks around in bushes. This is amazing if you are into it, but somehow we were not prepared for such action. Please be aware
