I had thought the price included breakfast, and the breakfast that could be purchased was super expensive.
Chambre très spacieuse, fraiche "malgré la canicule" et incroyablement calme. La moquette très épaisse contribue à atténuer le bruit du voisinage et la climatisation en mode nuit est extrêmement silencieuse. Le dejeuner est varié avec des produits frais et de qualités, merci pour l'animation "écureuil".
Un merci à Melba qui a enchanté notre fille. Un merci pour le petit cadeau de départ offert à notre fille pour une discussion d'histoire avec les propriétaires. Félicitation à tout le personnel qui à été à notre petit soin. Même le gradien de nuit, nous offre un cadeau chaque matin.

We were greeted every morning with the happiest "Good Morning! How was your sleep? Where would you like to sit in the garden for breakfast?" We enjoyed glorious sleep, delicious breakfasts with excellent service and were able to walk or cycle to all locations in and around Amboise. The staff was particularly accommodating when we arrived quite early before check in and made it possible for us to get to our bike rental and tour the chateaux on schedule.
There was very little to not like. We became used to a less powerful fan and air conditioning but it was still quite satisfactory.

Tout a été super! La chambre spacieuse et agréable, le petit déjeuner très bon, la place de parking sécurisée, l’emplacement de l’hôtel permettant de tout faire à pied. L’accueil et le conseil du personnel et des propriétaires ont été chaleureux.

Mauvais rapport qualité/prix, lavabos qui s’écoulent mal, petit déjeuner très compté, 2 capsules de café pour 2 personnes, trop juste…Spa non disponible sans réservation et 40€
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel-Spa - Au Charme Rabelaisien and Richard, his wife and Cristof were fantastic hosts, extremely friendly and so accommodating. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and they went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed and did anything to make us happy! We loved their breakfast and would highly recommend a stay here.
