Lovely 18th century property updated with mod cons but still retaining it’s charm. Staff was very helpful. All around an excellwnt stay.

De comfortabele (airco en keuken) en zeer sfeervolle inrichting met originele vintage meubelen (veel is zelfs te koop, zie website) gaf ons na het eerste bezoek negen jaar geleden opnieuw een fijne ervaring. Perfect voor onze doorreis met zijn vieren naar het zuiden. Pal naast de kathedraal, een bezoek waard. Aanrader!

Just a lovely place in the heart of town with great staff.

Very nice hotel with a lot of charm. The rooms are all nicely decorated but the bathroom was too tiny. But all in all a very good place. We would come back.

Un excellent week-end passé dans ce superbe établissement

Un acceuil chaleureux, une décoration des plus belles, une propreté impeccable et un excellent petit-déjeuner en bonne compagnie - et tout ceci au calme en plein centre-ville. A ne pas oublier le ravissant jardin.

Appartement en centre ville pres des commodités, dans un batiment ancien mais refait a neuf.
Parking disponible mais limité
L'accueil parfait efficace et sympathique, très pro et autorise check in plus tôt sans surcout (14h ) car l'appartement est disponible.

We had never visited Bourges before but it’s almost exactly half way in our regular drive from London to Barcelona so we thought we’d try Hotel Panette as a stopover. It’s a delightful small friendly establishment in an historic building right in the centre of the old town. They were extremely helpful from the start and during our stay. Very cute room. Comfortable with all the amenities you need. Go for the breakfast hamper it’s excellent. We will definitely stay again.

Je suis un habitué de cet établissement qui comme à chaque fois me comble autant sur l'aspect humain avec le personnel que vis à vis des chambres d'une grande qualité et avec une déco faite avec soin. De plus la proximité du centre culturel et historique est un plus.

Quand on aime l'hotelerie atypique et les belles choses du patrimoine il n'y a qu'à se laisser aller

Très mauvaise communication.
Impossible de récupérer les cles de ma chambre à mon arrivée ! La raison…l’accueil est fermé à 21h!!! (Pour un hôtel cela est étonnant)
Proposition de la personne au téléphone : Payer 27 euros en plus / nuit pour avoir une chambre qui a un digicode et qui est accessible après les heures d’ouverture!! (Cela s’appelle tout simplement du vol)
Arrivé dans la chambre : Mobilier vieillot, chambre très sombre, au RDC, vue sur le local poubelles.
Le chauffage était bruyant, et j’ai du mettre le thermostat à 27.C pour avoir un peu de chaleur.

Quel lieu magique. De l’accueil au logement, ainsi que le petit déjeuner servit à la porte, nous avons été conquis.

Very good size property, loads of period charm, very comfortable, excellent service and breakfast, and very close to all the great sights in Bourges

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Very, very old, like the entire city, and very close to the cathedral.
Our room, although renovated, retained most most of its 16th century ambience. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom modern. We Will definitely book this hotel If and when we return to Bourges.

Charming property in the heart of Old Town. Rooms were well equipped, comfortable and quaintly old-France. Close to food, shopping areas and points of interest to explore, all within easy walking distance. Excellent hosts.
