We were told one price for the lunch buffet and then charged 4x more when we checked out. The price for the lunch buffet was astronomical.

Beds were very hard and we waited over an hour once we ordered food. Checking out we were told not to leave the hotel until the room had been checked. We spent over a month travelling in sri Lanka in many different hotels and never had this before!

Receptionist annoying by asking the check out time. I got three calls within half and hour and asked the time we check out. Other services are fine.
Not as good as they show in the photo. Please do not take a room that does not have a sea view as it is totally not worth it.

This hotel has an unfortunate location, one side train tracks, one side beach teaming with wild fighting dogs. There's no reason to be in Panadura, even for the great Jetwing service. We won't go back.
Enjoyed every minute of my stay . The staff members were very friendly and welcoming. Pool attendants were always alert and were ready to go the extra mile to help
This hotel was my refuge while in Sri Lanka. Staff is awesome. The political situation in the country deteriorated Oct 26th 2018 I arrived Oct 30th. You could feel the tension outside the hotel but while there with the beautiful view I felt comfortable. Not so much in the rest of the country. Beautiful country but with major issues currently.
I don’t think I can fully explain the awfulness of this hotel. For a hotel to be this run down and dirty 18 months after opening speaks volumes. The beds are hard and I was given a fold out bed which was like sleeping on a piece of wood. The balcony doors didn’t lock and there is no furniture to even sit out there. You get the choice of a room that overlooks a railway line or a dirty beach complete with stray dogs that bark allllll night. The food was disgusting. We paid £50 for 2 adult buffets and 1 child for dinner with 1 drink each. The hotel is catered towards the Chinese guests so be aware of that. We found a hair in the breakfast and was given 10% off the price (£3.40) even though none of us ate it after the hair. On our final night we took the train to Colombo and went to the Hilton for their buffet dinner which cost less than this one and was the best meal of the entire trip - and we also went to the most amazing hotel in the Maldives. At the weekends they have team building things and parties that go on past midnight. The people giving this hotel high reviews are the Sri Lankan’s that come here at the weekend. Oh and we witnessed the hotel staff picking up rubbish on the beach and then burying the black sacks in the sand. Save your money - go somewhere else.

there is no activities at all except a large pool
This hotel was in excellent condition. Facilities like the pool, gym and beach are all high quality and well-maintained. Service was excellent and the hotel's environmental efforts were also appreciated. The location itself is not great, but if you think of it as a resort stay, where the surrounding area is of no concern then it is a great place at an affordable price.
The hotel has a nice beach and that was the only good thing about our stay. Rooms with beach view are better. Food was average, service was below average. The elevator wanst working for about 24 hours. Spent hours in getting the in-room ac, fridge working. Multiple follow-ups for extra bed had to be done. Front staff was rude and unhelpful in getting things working. So instead of relaxing, we spent time getting things working so that we could catch some sleep after long travel.
