Everything was amazing and clean
That I couldn’t stay longer 🤭
The location was fantastic. We went specifically to visit OMSI and it was a simply ride from the trimet station right outside the hotel over the river and to the museum. My child was also a big fan of the pool and its warm temperature.
They need more housekeepers and better pay for them so they can do a more thorough job cleaning the rooms without being rushed. The wall behind our toilet needed scrubbed, the remote was covered in Cheeto dust, and there was a spot of dried blood on our sheets underneath the pillows when we arrived. During our stay we only ever saw two housekeepers and they were clearly trying to hurry to get all the rooms they were assigned clean each day. Seemed like it was company policy to cut corners by telling less housekeepers than was actually needed to do twice the work three times as fast.
It was such a great location for us. We were walking distance from a lot of restaurants, and we loved the pool that was there that we could use.
There is no free parking which was a bit inconvenient. Thankfully we were able to find street parking the whole time we were there, and we would arrive after the parking meter expired and leave before it began.
King Suite room was great.
The staff was so accommodating and great with customer service the facilities, beautiful it was a day off for myself and my daughter who live and work right here in Portland and we worked so hard in the hospitality industry, and we just needed a little downtime. The place was everything we thought it would be.
My first staff member that I came upon worked in valet parking. He was quite this spectacular young man. Helped me get everything set up for the valet and told me where check-in was. Then it came to check in. The young lady at the front desk was just as spectacular. Always had a smile and was very helpful.
Getting woken up due to thin interior walls and floors/ceilings. Then you add housekeepers who have no regard for the guests on the floor below them as all I heard constantly was banging a very loud footsteps like they were stomping around. And unfortunately I was coming off of a week of 10 plus hour days back and forth from hospitals and rehabilitation centers I have been dealing with a family emergency. Very disappointed. Made for a very long and tiresome day today.
Located close to the highway and the river
Night desk, staff in particular could be rude.
Nothing
The property was in a great location, close to good restaurants and coffee shops. In addition, it was within a short walking distance to the Willamette River waterfront with a nice park, marina and excellent walking paths.
Unfortunately, the breakfast fell short of my expectations. They ran out of food, juice and and most importantly coffee before the end of breakfast and did not bring out more.
Breakfast included
suites were big and comfy and well designed
Value for money
Comfy beds
Kids and pet friendly
Pool was good
tongs in the kitchen for cooking in apartments
ist morning very busy and all food ran out and was a mess but staff were good organising food and extending breaky time. More kitchen staff needed to cope with the hotel being at high occupancy. Food was beautiful and great variety when available.
Parking was expensive should do a package with it included especially for people travelling and the exchange rate isnt great for us,so makes parking fee unaffordable and a deterrent from staying. If we didnt have a disabled pass and could utilise the free parking on the streets surrounding the hotel. Although that was also difficult to navigate with all the rules and regulations.
Very nice hotel in a great location in Portland. Near downtown and the waterfront. Close to nice shops and food. You can walk downtown along the great walk/bike path the hotel is nice, good rooms and friendly staff. And it’s right across the street from the metro line.
Property was very nice, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the pool and veranda on the second floor.
Lack of parking
Room was generally nice, BUT bar and restaurant in lobby were closed everyday, even though entire weekend. No safe parking, unless you pay $60+ a day for valet. Closest parking garage was a block away, only one level, and had no security, otherwise street parking was available. Tried parking garage but saw 2 cars with smashed drivers windows inside, so was almost forced to valet or face damages to my own car.
My family and I had a horrible experience the staff was super sweet and understanding we were in the pool and there was a couple that also had kids my kids were jumping in getting out jumping in the man that was there got upset and smacked his hands down to splash them then shoved my kid I complained to the front desk and the manager Lydia basically just complained about how she had to come in so early because of the situation and told us it wasn’t her problem and the only thing she would do is give us a free drink she told me to contact Expedia if I wanted to get a refund I did so and when they got in contact with her she consistently hung up on them and told them she wasn’t doing it I wouldn’t have a problem if this didn’t involve my children but it did and I felt mistreated and my kids did not feel safe to get back in the pool I will not be coming back here
