Convenient but not a good value
Pros:

The hotel was convenient to town and my event.

Cons:

The room was small and had only one chair and limited desk space. Amenities were limited with only powdered cream and no spoons. Shampoo provided was very limited and not enough for a proper cleanning.

Never again!
Pros:

Slackwater Inn
I waited 4 hours to check in!
We communicated via bookings site all along then unbeknownst to me they decided to send check in details via text. Traveling internationally I was unable to receive text.
I had to find another place to stay as it was getting very late. I have requested the charge to be refunded but I am still waiting!

Cons:

No customer service.
No live person.

Pros:

It was very clean and comfortable and had a nice little patio. I never saw any management or was able to contact any although a phone number was supplied it was never answered. Also a little far from town.

A clean, comfortable, and cute place to stay while enjoying the wonderful town, and incredible natural beauty of Buena V
Pros:

This is a roadside inn that’s been renovated and is everything you need for a nice stay in Buena Vista. It’s remarkably clean. The decor is mountain-whimsical, the beds are comfy, the bathroom has all the essentials, and there’s a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It’s right off the highway but amazingly , it was quiet at night. The owners have done a great job making this Inn a quality place to stay.

Cons:

Each bed had two super firm pillows. It needs one soft pillow option. You need to drive into town; it’s not walkable as far as I could tell.

Outstanding stay in Buena Vista!!!
Pros:

The room and the overall property is very clean, proper and well maintained. Excellent site for viewing the Collegiate Peaks and very close to the Arkansas River. Close to BV and its amenities. The median home price in BV is way above its actual intrinsic value. Too many douchebag Dems ruining Chaffee County!!!

Cons:

While I was winding down and getting ready for bed a trashy neighbor checked in next door and they were loud into the wee hours of the morning. The walls are thin. They calmed down though. If you stay here during the rowdy upcoming summer be prepared for noise. I think that manager needs to be onsite 24/7 during the summer.

Good value for one night
Pros:

Clean room. Convenient location to drive to BV and activities in the area. Easy check in

Cons:

Construction quality was low in the room. It looks good from a distance but you can tell that everything was done cheaply up close. Curtains didn’t black out enough light. Room smelt a bit musty and of cleaner.
