centrally located easy to get around right on oxford road but this property has so much different issues the rooms are very tiny air-condition doesn't get cool enough its more for a single person or couple that doesn't spend time in the room

Perfect hotel to experience Oxford Street

Urbano staff were helpful and our rooms were clean and comfortable with all amenities working well.

The property is in the midst of all the action. I love walking the area, it’s very safe. I don’t like that the property has no elevator, but you get used to it by the second day.

I stayed there for two days and I recommend them for their good service. I will stay there again on my next trip to Accra.

I find it little ironic that I am asked to review the hotel that booked my room to guests with extended stay and put me in another hotel. The other hotel was ok, but I booked Urbano WEEKS ago and this is where I wanted to stay. I was very excited to stay at a hotel that looked really cool and funky, and even sent few other people there that were in Accra before me. I am deeply disappointed that my reservation was booked to someone else and the hotel decided to turn me down without my choice or any prior communication. When I arrived, they just sent me off to another hotel (walking distance). Again, the other hotel (Roots) was ok, but that is NOT what I booked and where I wanted to stay.

Amazing workforce, really kind always prepared to help. You can ask anything via whatsapp and they will answer quickly. Really nice room, great bed, with a nice sofa a fridge and a freezer. The surroundings are nice and quiet, spend your money here!!

For the price point, this hotel is very comfortable and an excellent choice for anyone attending an event at the international Conference centre. Around the area, there are opportunities for street and fine dining, shopping malls, street food and banks. Will surely stay here again

Absolutely enjoyed my seven days at Urbano Hotel by Roots. Was picked up from the airport by shuttle. Whisked from the airport and brought to the hotel with no fuss or trouble. The check-in was trouble free. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. The staff were great. I was escorted to my room. Again, great service and friendly staff. This being my first time in Ghana the staff were more than willing to give me guidance on things to do, places to go, tours to consider, and restaurants to consider. Grateful for all the input from staff on all aspects of my stay. Truly appreciated local suggestions. Favorite experience was getting a chance to meet with the hotel manager about an incident that had nothing to do with Urbano but set me back. The hotel manager was, like his staff, more than willing to meet with me and sit down and talk to me about my trip. He, like his staff, offered suggestions of food, places to go, and nightlife activities. Definitely a surprise find in Osu. In the hustling and bustling Oxford Street area know that the area is busy. 24/7 people are walking up and down Oxford Street. I thought it wonderful and suggested the safety of Accra and Ghana. Just a great experience. Highly recommend. Also want to point out that Urbano is just one of three Roots properties all within walking distance of each other. Each property is a little different. A pleasant and enjoyable stay in Osu.

Excellent stay - the men on reception were very calm and professional (which marked a great improvement compared to my experience at the same property a few years ago). The room was clean and comfortable , Wi-Fi was stable and the security/porters / cleaners were all nice and polite guys too. Some soft music in the reception area might be nice for the customers and staff alike.
