Crescent City Lighthouse Inn
We were on a road trip along the coast and needed a one night stopping trip. I thought this place looked cute and was near the wharf and restaurants, etc.
This is a lovely Inn with a welcoming feel, wonderful desk staff, and it’s near the harbour and close to restaurants. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The postcard rack in the lobby was a cute touch.
Generally the place is well run - everything is clean and functional and the staff is competent. The problem I had was rudeness from staff when I checked in. I stayed on July 20th. There were two young women behind the counter. They were friendly when they greeted me and asked my name. But when I opened my mouth and said my name, one of them openly went "Womp womp." Whether they thought I have a funny name or a funny voice, it was a really rude welcome to their town. It was all very uncomfortable after that.

the room was great the kids loved the jacuzzi tub! Breakfast was good, the room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly!

The location is great,.. we got one of the small rooms and uhh… it was Gigantic!

They canceled one of my rooms on accident, and had nothing to fix the problem. They kept insisting i canceled the room by phone. They didn't have any kind of proof of a refund or cancelation. All they said was i called and canceled my room. I had to call bookings to even get a refund for the room they canceled in error. I ended up calling all around town and getting another room for $200 more.
They were rude and not helpful after making a huge mistake. I had to fight for a refund. At no point did anyone apologize. The room didnt have ac so they gave us a box fan. The room was old and dated.

Very dated and only bread (bagels, toast) and coffee/juice for breakfast, no fruit or protein.
