The staff were very polite and friendly, the reception lady was especially helpful.
The hotel forgot about my reservation, I had to wait over 30 mins on the street at night to be let in, had even more adventures with finally getting access to a room. In the suite the iron did not work, neither did the electricity outlets (except for one). The design of the room looks nice but is highly impractical, with so many mirror surfaces not one allowed for getting ready or putting on make up (the dark colouring and bad lighting made it impossible to see anything clearly). Even the close up mirror in the bathroom was installed incorrectly. The door to my room was left open after the cleaning service which I only noticed upon my return to the hotel that day. Nothing was lost but this should never happen in a hotel. Breakfast menu looks great but once the food arrives you see that shortcuts are made to include popular dishes without putting in the effort to prepare and serve them correctly.
The hotel offered a bottle of inexpensive wine as an apology but no refund.
While the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, they are not provided with processes and facilities that would allow this hotel to function at a level it aims for. As someone who travels to Poznan regularly, I know this hotel is permanently off my list of places to stay at, you can find much better quality in a similar price range.
