Close and convenient
The window treatments were awful and broken no privacy and cheap furnishings. For this price this hotel should have been pristine and well appointed. I feel like I was taken…..
The room was clean, bright and spacious. The staff was excellent. Location is ideal with its proximity to downtown restaurants, the river and parks, La Crosse Center.
The only negative was the noise made by the doors closing. Perhaps they could add something to minimize that noise such as a lining around the door jam or adjust the tension in the door closing mechanism.
Desk staff was friendly, but very difficult to communicate with housekeeping staff.
We booked for 10 nights, but never had one change of bed linen! We only had our "do not disturb" sign out for one afternoon of our stay, so that isn't an excuse. Refreshing os supplies such as toilet tissue was also haphazard. And..one morning at 6:00 I was awakened by the stench of someone smoking weed very close by, which resulted in a headache for me for a good part of the day. Considering these issues, and the price, I'm not sure if I would stay here again.

The breakfast was exceptional.
The hotel and my room were very nice, updated, and clean.
The parking situation was not ideal. Their lot is tiny and full so I was advised they would pay for parking in the neighboring ramp. I was fine with that, except the ramp was closed for maintenance after the first night. I had to park on the street 3 blocks away. Since I was traveling alone and arriving late at night, walking alone at night wasn't ideal.
I didn't eat their breakfast but I did get coffee each morning and it was always cold.

Loved the room, loved the breakfast, loved the very competent staff.
I would really like some fresh fruit. The yogurt stand is wonderful but it would be better with banana or fresh strawberries.
The room was very comfortable, and we were very impressed by the extras in the room. The full size refrigerator, plates and micro really came in handy. The hotel staff were also very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.
We booked our stay with Booking.com. What a mistake. We will never book through them again. We wish we could have dealt with your hotel for all the reservation issues. Next time we will know better.
Great location and breakfast selections
Very thin walls; if you’re a light sleeper you may by woken up by slamming doors and heavy footsteps. Parking lot is very small; however they do offer parking across the street in parking structure.
